Mecenas, an older pup with a white snout and a look that hides many sad stories. He arrived with us as a result of an intervention – scared, distrustful, as if life had long taught him that it’s not worth opening up. But he was convinced. And now, though with a character, he eagerly explores the nooks and crannies of our shelter with his nose. Curious by nature, but discerning – Mecenas doesn’t get into any casual acquaintances. Today, the most important things for him are short walks, a tasty bowl, and a solid nap in a warm corner. He’s not looking for adventures – he’s looking for peace. A peace that he could finally call home. If you have a place in your heart and a bit of patience, Mecenas will gratefully repay your presence that soothes him. Because even an elderly one with a past deserves a peaceful future.

Mecenas. Starszy piesek z siwym pyszczkiem i spojrzeniem, w którym kryje się dużo smutnych historii.. Przyjechał do nas w wyniku interwencji – wystraszony, nieufny, jakby życie długo mówiło mu, że nie warto się otwierać. Ale dał się przekonać. I teraz, choć z charakterkiem, chętnie bada zakamarki schroniska swoim nosem. Ciekawski z natury, ale wybredny – Mecenas nie wchodzi w byle jakie znajomości. Dziś najważniejsze są dla niego krótkie spacerki, smaczna miska i solidna drzemka w ciepłym kącie. Nie szuka przygód – szuka spokoju. Takiego, który mógłby nareszcie nazwać domem. Jeśli masz miejsce w sercu i trochę cierpliwości, Mecenas z wdzięcznością odwdzięczy się obecnością, która koi. Bo nawet staruszek z przeszłością zasługuje na spokojną przyszłość.
