She was emaciated and a week away from starving. When we brought her in, it took us several weeks to get her to gain weight as all of the nutrients were going to her four puppies. Eventually she started to heal and she even took on an orphaned puppy to nurse. She is now ready for adoption as her puppies are grown and is looking for a warm home to give her the emotional attention and exercise she requires.
