MILLY adoptieren
Mischling · Weiblich

Milly has spent the vast majority of her life behind bars at the Cieza facility. It is easy for a dog to become invisible when they aren’t receiving consistent human interaction. Because volunteers are rare at Cieza, Milly has spent far too long in a state of anxious waiting. But there is so much potential hiding beneath that fear. Patricia, one of our volunteers, shares this insight into who Milly really is: ‘Milly is a sweetheart. She was very scared and didn’t want to leave her kennel. After a few months, she now happily walks outside on a leash. She never pulls and always responds when you talk to her. Sometimes she still finds being petted on the head a little scary and may flinch, but this is improving every day. She really wants to do everything right, looks at you often, and genuinely seeks connection. She deserves a calm and loving home.’ Look at her eyes! Milly doesn’t need a miracle; she needs consistency. She needs someone to show her that the world isn’t a scary place and that she is safe. She needs daily care to continue building her confidence so she can finally learn to be a dog and do the things dogs love to do. Will you be the person to change her life? Pupdate from volunteer Michelle K 15/07/26: Milly walks beautifully on the lead. Such a very calm girl to walk. Update from Michelle K 06/08/26: Milly. Milly used to be a shy and timid but is now a gorgeous, happy and affectionate girl. She shares a kennel with another female with no problem. She loves her time to play in the park with the other dogs and gets on great with them all. She walks excellent on the lead and will stay beside you. She loves people and loves to get lots of fuss made of her. Milly is a quiet and loving girl who would be an excellent companion. She has come such a long way it would be fantastic if she could continue gaining her confidence in a loving home. ❤️
