Molly ist ein wunderschönes Mädchen, das kürzlich aus dem Rennsport verabschiedet wurde und nun bereit ist, ihre nächste Lebensphase zu beginnen…einen liebevollen, dauerhaften Zuhause. Als Molly zu uns kam, war sie verständigerweise etwas unsicher in ihrer neuen Umgebung. Doch es dauerte nicht lange, bis ihre zarte und liebevolle Natur zum Vorschein kam. Sie ist ein freundliches Mädchen, das Gesellschaft mag und bereits zeigt, wie süß sie sein kann. Molly geht gut an Leine und Halsband, was sie zu einem wunderbaren Begleiter für ruhige Spaziergänge macht. Sie hat Interesse an anderen Hunden gezeigt, oft wedelt sie mit dem Schwanz, wenn sie sie sieht, obwohl sie noch nicht richtig eingeführt wurden – daher ist ihr Verhalten gegenüber anderen Hunden immer noch unbekannt. Aufgrund ihres Hintergrunds als Rennhund wird sie ein Zuhause benötigen, das keine anderen Tiere hat. Da Molly wahrscheinlich noch nie in einem Zuhause gelebt hat, müssen ihre Adoptiveltern geduldig und verständnisvoll sein, während sie die Grundlagen des Hauslebens lernt, einschließlich der Toilettentrainings und des Anpassens an eine neue Routine. Mit Zeit, Liebe und Konsistenz hat sie alle Chancen, sich zu einer wundervollen Gefährtin zu entwickeln. Sie isst gut und zeigt keine Anzeichen von Ressourcenverteidigung. Molly wurde vom Tierarzt untersucht und benötigt eine Zahnbehandlung, außerdem hat sie leichte Haarverlust an den Beinen und dem Körper, den wir weiter überwachen werden. Molly wiegt etwas mehr als 30 kg und hat eine Schulterhöhe von etwa 68 cm – eine große, elegante Dame mit viel Liebe, die sie geben kann. Molly is a beautiful girl who has recently retired from racing and is now ready to begin her next chapter…finding a loving forever home. When Molly first arrived with us, she was understandably a little unsure of her new surroundings. However, it didn’t take long for her gentle and affectionate nature to shine through. She’s a friendly girl who enjoys human company and is already showing just how sweet she can be. Molly walks nicely on a lead and harness, making her a lovely companion for calm strolls. She has shown interest in other dogs, often wagging her tail when she sees them, although she hasn’t yet been properly introduced – so her behaviour around other dogs is still unknown. Due to her background as a racing Greyhound, she will need a home with no other animals. As Molly has likely never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be patient and understanding while she learns the basics of home life, including housetraining and settling into a new routine. With time, kindness, and consistency, she has all the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. She is currently eating well and has shown no signs of resource guarding. Molly has been seen by our vet and will require a dental, and she has some minor hair loss on her legs and body, which we will continue to monitor. Molly weighs just over 30kg and stands approximately 68cm at the shoulder – a tall, elegant girl with lots of love to give. As Molly has only recently arrived, we are still getting to know her and will update her profile as we learn more.
