Nelly is a happy, bubbly girl who walks well on lead, enjoys her long sniffy walks and exploring new places. She loves meeting new people and having a fuss, but can get easily overexcited, so would benefit from owners who can help her regulate through training and enrichment. Nelly is a bit undersocialised with other dogs and can sometimes be a bit intense with her playstyle, but she is learning her manners in our care and is mixing well with other dogs. Nelly has learned through positive association to wear her muzzle when mixing with other dogs, to keep her safe. At the end of the day, Nelly loves to cuddle up with her favourite people on the sofa and can't wait to find her forever home. The height (or anticipated adult height) of this dog is below the threshold required for a dog to be considered an American Bully XL type. Meet Nelly our sweet 3 year old American Bulldog. Nelly is a super fun and silly girl who is looking for a reasonably busy home who can keep her clever brain active with ongoing training and enrichment. Nelly can be bouncy when saying hello so is looking to live with children of an older secondary school age who are comfortable around larger dogs. Nelly is very typical of her breed and can be quite boisterous with her play style. For this reason, she could live with another dog who matches her play style, pending a successful meet at our centre. Nelly is a wonderfully affectionate girl who loves spending time with her favourite people and would love to cosy up at your feet whilst you're watching TV in the evenings.
