Hello, I’m Pigeon! I may have a bird’s name, but I’m definitely more interested in following you around than flying off anywhere! I’m a sweet and sensitive Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross puppy looking for a family who understands that the world can be a big, exciting place when you’re still learning about it. I love exploring, and sometimes I like to investigate things with my mouth — after all, how else am I supposed to figure out what everything is? I can live with children aged 5+, provided they’re comfortable with a puppy who likes to explore the world with their mouth. I’ll need someone who can help me learn that being alone is okay. I shouldn’t be left initially, but with patience and gradual training, I can build up my confidence and learn that my humans really will come back. A secure garden is essential to help me with my house training and give me somewhere safe to explore. I’ll also need dedicated owners who are committed to taking me to puppy training and socialisation classes. These will help me learn good manners, build my confidence and get me off to the best possible start. I may be able to live with another dog following a successful introduction at the North Lincolnshire centre, and I could potentially live with dog-savvy cats too. My adoption date will be between 16th and 18th October, but my future family will need to visit me a couple of times before then.
