He doesn't ask for a perfect life, just a chance. A chance to leave these bars before this place becomes all he knows in life. Pikachu gets along with other dogs and humans, but his compatibility with cats is unknown and can be tested. He can live in a house or apartment, but he will need to be taught family life with patience, kindness, and love.

Je suis encore tout jeune… Je devrais courir, jouer, découvrir le monde et apprendre ce que c’est d’être aimé. Mais à la place, je grandis derrière les barreaux d’une fourrière. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi je suis ici. Moi, je voudrais simplement une famille. Des bras pour me porter quand je suis fatigué, une main pour me caresser, un panier bien chaud où dormir et quelqu’un qui me dise que je suis enfin en sécurité. Chaque jour, j’entends des bruits, des aboiements, des portes qui claquent… et je regarde autour de moi en espérant que quelqu’un viendra pour moi. Je suis encore jeune, mais j’ai déjà appris ce que c’est que d’attendre. Je voudrais connaître l’herbe sous mes petites pattes. Courir sans avoir peur. Jouer avec une balle. M’endormir près de quelqu’un qui m’aime. Grandir dans une maison où je pourrai enfin être un vrai petit chien. Je ne demande pas une vie parfaite. Je demande juste une chance.
