Description/Updates/Pictures: Update April 2026: Rio is a handsome young dog. He is always close to his best friend Fiyero. Both of them enjoy being around people, although they need a little time to warm up before fully opening their hearts. He is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 20 kg. Update May 2025: New photos of our Rio. He still hasn't found a home. Update January 2025: Look into those beautiful eyes and try telling RIO you don't want to take him home right now! Rio had a little setback with a virus, but he's all good now and ready for his forever home. This sweet butter baby loves cuddles, snuggling in his blankets and playing with his buddies. Almost a month after being abandoned, they‘ve slowly learn to trust people. They love their warm blankets (especially now that it’s getting colder), to play and to cuddle. Let’s make sure Denver, Rio, Palermo, Tokyo and Nairobi don’t grow up in the shelter! The first winter is always tough for these little ones, so maybe they can spend it in the warmth of a loving home?!
