She has been through a cat flu, still requires veterinary care, and life has taught her that it's better to be cautious than hurt. It's hard for her to open up at the animal shelter – there are too many stimuli, too little warmth. That's why she desperately needs a home. A quiet, patient one where someone will give her time, space, and peace, rather than demands. Tamara won't be a cat to cuddle from the start. But if you give her a chance, one morning she might approach on her own, sit beside you, and look at you so that you understand – she trusts. And then that moment will be worth all the previous scratches.

Tamara to kotka, która nie da sobie w kaszę dmuchać. Ma charakter i wcale się z tym nie kryje – jak coś jej się nie spodoba, powie o tym jasno… pazurem albo zębami. Ale zanim nazwiesz ją niegrzeczną, zatrzymaj się na chwilę. Bo Tamara nie jest złośliwa – ona po prostu jeszcze nie ufa. Przeszła koci katar, nadal wymaga opieki weterynaryjnej, a życie nauczyło ją, że lepiej być ostrożną niż zranioną. W schronisku trudno jej się otworzyć - za dużo bodźców, za mało ciepła. Dlatego tak bardzo potrzebuje domu. Takiego spokojnego, cierpliwego, w którym ktoś da jej czas, przestrzeń i spokój, zamiast wymagań. Tamara nie będzie kotką „do przytulania” od pierwszego dnia. Ale jeśli dasz jej szansę, pewnego poranka może sama podejść, usiąść obok i spojrzeć tak, że zrozumiesz – zaufała. A wtedy ten moment będzie wart wszystkich wcześniejszych drapnięć.
