Tayto ist ein 18 Monate alter Staffie-Junge, der ein ziemlich typischer Jugendlicher ist, mit seinem Herzen auf dem Arm und bereit für Action. Er kam als Streuner in den Tierheim und war dort mehrere Wochen, bevor er in die Pflege von A Dog’s Life kam – also hat er eine stressige Zeit durchgemacht und wir haben die Auswirkungen all dieser kumulativen Stressfaktoren gesehen. Dieser Typ macht sprunghafte Fortschritte und wird bald bereit sein, weiterzuziehen, mit weiterer Unterstützung. AniEd wird mit Tayto und seiner neuen Familie arbeiten, um ihm zu helfen, sich in seinem neuen Zuhause einzuleben, damit dieser Junge dort bleibt. Tayto ist brindle point, also kommt er mit einer Prise Einzigartigkeit daher, und wie Sie sehen können, ist er verdammt niedlich! Dieser kleine Kerl ist süß und sozial, ist angemessen freundlich gegenüber neuen Menschen und sehr tolerant gegenüber Handhabung und Kontakten. Tayto liebt seine Mahlzeit, mag Spielzeugziehen und Kauen und ist zum Puzzle-Fan geworden. Er macht gut mit der Haltung im Haus und schläft die ganze Nacht tief und fest in seinem Käfig. Für Tayto ist die große, böse Welt etwas überwältigend und obwohl er nicht ängstlich ist, ist er eine empfindsame Seele. Er arbeitet an der Engagement, ein bisschen Umschulung, wie man sich zurückziehen kann, wenn es zu viel wird, und die Fähigkeit einfach zu bleiben. All diese Arbeit muss weitergeführt werden, mit Anleitung. Er ist gerade in Pflege in einem belebten Vorort und mit weiterer Arbeit wird es für ihn immer leichter. Er wird allerlei ausgesetzt und entwickelt sich gut. Tayto genießt Ausflüge im Auto und reist gut. Das Führen ihn zu geeigneten Orten, wie offene Parks, wird auch Teil seines Programms sein, um ihm Gelegenheiten zu geben, Dampf abzulassen. Ein Vorort- oder ländliches Zuhause ist für ihn in Ordnung, sobald regelmäßige Autoausflüge zu geeigneten Orten möglich sind. Engagement, Reizung und Trainingsarbeit werden auch in und um die Nachbarschaft weiterhin stattfinden. Sein neues Zuhause muss eines ohne kleine Haustiere oder Katzen sein und keine Kinder. Tayto könnte mit einem größeren, reifen weiblichen Begleitdoggie leben, aber das Leben als Einzelhund wäre für ihn ebenfalls okay. Er wird zunehmend neutraler gegenüber vorbeigehenden Menschen, anderen Hunden, Verkehr und den Vorgängen und kann leichter abgelenkt und engagiert werden; unser Programm wird auch in seinem neuen Zuhause weiter daran arbeiten. Tayto kann einige Zeit alleine im Käfig verbringen und beruhigt sich gut alleine. Sobald er sich eingewöhnt hat, könnten einige Stunden alleine für diesen Kerl funktionieren. Wie bei jedem neuen Hund benötigen die ersten drei Monate oder so ruhig genug zu sein und die Herausforderungen des Familienlebens schrittweise hinzufügen. Tayto wird ein hervorragender Begleiter für den richtigen Adoptanten sein, der diesen Hund kennt und liebt und versteht, wie viel jede Interaktion eine Liebesattacke ist. Der richtige Zuhause für Tayto: Vorort oder ländliches Gebiet. Sicherer Garten unbedingt erforderlich. Keine Katzen oder kleine Haustiere. Nur Erwachsene und große Kinder. Ein paar Stunden alleine sind in Ordnung. Fahrt mit dem Auto für Ausflüge. Weiteres Engagement bei der Arbeit mit AniEd, um Tayto bei der Eingewöhnung zu helfen. Viele passende Reize und Unterhaltung. Humorvoll sein und bereit für Spaß! Tayto ist vollständig geimpft (einschließlich Tollwut), kastriert und mit Mikrochip versehen. Tayto is an 18 month old Staffie boy, who is a pretty typical adolescent, wearing his heart on his sleeve and up for action. He came into the pound as a stray and was there for a few weeks before coming into the care of A Dog’s Life – so he has been through a stressful time and we have been seeing the effects of all these cumulative stressors. This guy is coming on in leaps and bounds and will be ready to move on soon, with continued support. AniEd will be working with Tayto and his new family to help him settle into his new home so that this guy will be there to stay. Tayto is brindle point so he comes with a touch of the unique, and as you can see, he is frickin’ adorable! This little fella is sweet and social, he is appropriately friendly with new people, and is very tolerant of handling and contact. Tayto loves his grub, likes to play tug and chew and has become a puzzle aficionado. He is doing well with house training and sleeps soundly all night in his crate. To Tayto, the big bad world is a little overwhelming and although he isn’t fearful, he is a sensitive soul. He has been working on engagement, a little counterconditioning, how to move away when it all gets a bit much and the ability to just hang out and be. All of this work must continue, with guidance. He is in foster in a busy suburban area right now, and with continuing work, this is becoming easier and easier for him. He is being exposed to all sorts and is progressing well. Tayto enjoys trips in the car and travels well. Driving him to suitable places, like open parkland, will be part of his program too, providing him with opportunities to let off steam. A suburban or rural home will be fine for him, once car trips to suitable locations can be provided regularly. Engagement, enrichment and exercising work will also continue in and around the neighbourhood. His new home needs to be one without small pets or cats and no kids either. Tayto may live with a larger mature female companion dog, but life as a single dog will work for him too. He is becoming more and more neutral toward passers-by, other dogs, traffic and the goings on and can be redirected and engaged more easily; our program will continue to work on this in his new home too. Tayto can spend some time crated alone and settles well on his own. Once he has settled in, a couple of hours alone will work for this boy too. As with any new dog, the first three months or so will need to be quiet enough, adding in the challenges of family life gradually. Tayto will make a cracking companion for the right adopter who knows and loves this type of dog, understanding just how much every interaction is a love-assault. The right home for Tayto: Suburban or rural area. Secure garden a must. No cats or small pets. Adults and big kids only. Some alone time fine. Travel by car for outings. Continued commitment to working with AniEd, helping Tayto settle in. Lots of appropriate enrichment & entertainment. Have sense of humour and be ready for fun!
