Meet our Poodle boy Toby! Toby arrived at Battersea from another rescue and with 7 other dogs and has likely not had the best start in life. He is a very worried lad who is slowly learning that the world is not such a scary place, but he is stressed when outside and struggles to walk on lead, showing behaviours similar to a puppy farm dog who has had limited exposure to the wider world. New owners will need to be prepared for a long settling in period with owners taking everything at his pace. Toby will need a patient home in a quiet location where he can build confidence at his own pace. He will need to live with another dog, ideally a small, steady, friendly role model type, as he will really gain confidence from them. He is currently kennelled with Robbie, and because they have a lovely companionship, they placed together.
