Vanilla, Erdbeere, Karamell und Cappuccino … vier Leben, die noch nicht einmal zwei Monate alt sind. Sie wurden in einer Kartonbox neben einem Müllcontainer zurückgelassen, als wäre nichts dabei, als wären sie unwichtig. Sie sind nur Babys, die das Allerwichtigste anfordern: Wärme, Essen, Pflege … und viel Liebe. Hinter ihnen liegt eine noch härtere Geschichte: eine Mutter, die bestimmt nach ihnen sucht, ihre Zitzen voll Milch, nicht verstehen kann, wo ihre Kleinen sind. Sie so zu trennen, ist unverzeihlich. Kastrieren und sterilisieren ist keine Option, es ist eine Verantwortung. Weil, wenn es nicht gemacht wird, das Ergebnis immer dasselbe ist: mehr Würfe, mehr Verlassenwerden, mehr Leiden. Es war nicht schwer, etwas länger zu warten. Es war nicht schwer, das Richtige zu tun. Vanilla, Strawberry, Toffee and Mocha… four lives that haven’t even reached two months old. They were abandoned inside a box, next to a rubbish bin, as if they felt nothing, as if they didn’t matter. They are just babies asking for the bare essentials: warmth, food, care… and lots of love. Behind them lies an even harder story: a mother surely searching for them, her teats full of milk, unable to understand where her little ones are. Separating them like this is unjustifiable. Spaying and neutering isn’t an option, it’s a responsibility. Because when it isn’t done, the result is always the same: more litters, more abandonment, more suffering. It wasn’t that hard to wait a little longer. It wasn’t that hard to do the right thing.
