Val ist ein hochwachsender Grauhund. Sie geht gut an der Leine, obwohl sie in einer städtischen Umgebung etwas nervös ist. Sie braucht einfach nur Geduld und Zeit, um dich kennenzulernen, und dann ist sie deine beste Freundin. Val verträgt sich gut mit anderen Hunden bei Spaziergängen, auch mit kleinen flauschigen. Sie ist auch glücklich, für kurze Zeiträume alleine gelassen zu werden und wäre als Einzelhund gut geeignet. Sie würde gerne einen Garten mit Gras haben, da sie nicht auf Kies oder harte Oberflächen pinkeln möchte. Val war für kurze Zeit in einem Zuhause und war leicht zu häuslich trainieren, sie wurde zurückgegeben, weil sie nicht ins Auto springen wollte und beim Reisen etwas gestresst aussah. Wir haben festgestellt, dass sie in unserem Van und mit anderen Grauhunden gut reist, also könnte vielleicht ein größeres Auto helfen. Val ist ein wundervolles Mädchen und wartet nur auf die richtige Person, die sie mit nach Hause nimmt.

Meet Val, racing name Monleek Valencia, who is 5 yrs old (DOB16/04/2021) and is a tall elegant, black greyhound. Val walks nicely on the lead, although she is a little nervous in an urban environment. She just needs patience and time to get to know you and then she is your best friend. Val is fine meeting other dogs out on walks, even the small fluffy ones. She is also happy to be left on her own for for short periods and would be fine as an only dog. Val is good with the other greyhounds here so could also make a great second hound in a home. She would love a garden with some grass as she likes to fling her toys about now and again, she also doesn't like to toilet on gravel or hard surfaces. Val is not cat friendly and would chase one. She loves a fuss and will cuddle up on the sofa with you if allowed.She should also be fine with older children, so long as its not a noisy household. Val has been in a home for a short while and was easy to house train, she was returned as she wouldn't jump into the car and appeared a little stressed traveling. She isn't car sick and does settled down in the car, but prefers to have most of her walks straight out the front or back door. Val really is a lovely girl and is just waiting for the right person to take her home.
