Kittens charm everyone and like all associations we have many adorable kittens available for adoption. You are many who are looking to adopt a kitten in Paris right now but we do have conditions of course. Our association has been around for over 30 years and our kittens for adoption are all weaned, educated and cuddled by Mama cat (if mama cat is with them here) before they are ready for a calm and successful adoption. Sometimes we find abandoned kittens without their mother and very young... We then have our volunteer foster families, specialists in the socialization and education of these kittens, who take them in at their homes and help us find their ideal adoptive family. Adopting a kitten is a long-term commitment. A kitten will make mistakes for a few months! A happy and cherished cat that can live up to 15/16 years minimum... And sometimes 17 years or more when they are spayed from a very young age and well looked after by a vet. Yes it happens! My own cat (comment by Brigit - webmaster and volunteer for the association) FIDJI celebrated her 18th birthday in March 2024 (after being adopted in December 2006 at 8/10 months) and she is in great shape my cutie. Fidji left this world in my arms and cuddled on July 31, 2024... The heat was fatal for her. For any kitten (or adult cat) adoption with our association you will need to plan! Les chatons font craquer tout le monde et comme toutes les associations nous avons à l’adoption de nombreux chatons adorables. Vous êtes nombreux à chercher à adopter un chaton sur Paris en ce moment mais nous imposons des conditions bien sur. Notre association existe depuis plus de 30 ans et nos chatons à adopter sont tous sevrés éduqués et câlinés par Maman chat (si maman minette est avec eux chez nous) avant qu’ils ne soient prêts pour une adoption sereine et réussie. Parfois nous trouvons des chatons abandonnés sans Maman et très jeunes … Nous avons alors nos bénévoles Familles d’Accueil, spécialistes de la sociabilisation et de l’éducation de ces chatons, qui les accueillent chez elles et nous aident pour leur trouver leur famille d’adoption idéale. Adopter un chaton est un acte d’engagement sur le long terme Un chaton qui fera des bêtises aussi pendant quelques mois ! Un chat heureux et choyé qui pourra vivre jusqu’à 15/16 ans au minimum… Et parfois 17 ans ou plus quand ils sont stérilisés dès le plus jeune âge et bien suivis par un véto. Eh oui ça arrive ! Mon propre chat (commentaire de brigit – webmaster et bénévole pour l’asso) FIDJI a fêté ses 18 ans en mars 2024 (après une adoption en décembre 2006 à 8/10 mois) et elle « pète » la forme ma choupette. Fidji a quitté ce monde dans mes bras et câlinée le 31/07/2024 …. Le coup de chaleur lui aura été fatal Pour toute adoption de chaton (ou chat adulte) avec notre association il faudra prévoir ! Nouvelle adoption pour la famille Maria & Vincent : Quelques semaines après l’adoption de Gaïa et Cachou (une adoption chaotique qui réserve son lot de surprises !! A lire en cliquant sur le lien ci-dessus ) ces amoureux des chats ont aussi adopté KALI une jeune siamoise au fort caractère mais qui a su trouver sa place elle aussi avec les deux autres chats de la famille. Un témoignage que je peux d’autant plus apporter que je leur aient rendu visite il y a peu pour un moment « tea-time » à parler chats, adoption, amour et partage !
