Baccara, 3 months old, is a sweet little ball of fur who is just waiting to fill your home with love. She is a heart-winner: pretty, cuddly, and full of life, she has everything to make you fall in love. Health note (FIV): Baccara was born to a FIV-positive mother ("Feline AIDS"). Her initial test is positive, but this result is temporary. At her age, it is very likely due to her mother's antibodies. A second control test around 6 months will confirm her final status. Daily life: Even if she remains positive, FIV is not transmitted to humans or other animals (except cats) and does not prevent a cat from living very happily indoors for many years. Qui suis-je ? Baccara, 3 mois, est une adorable petite pelote de poils qui ne demande qu’à remplir votre foyer d’amour. Un cœur à prendre : Jolie, câline et pleine de vie, elle a tout pour vous faire craquer. Point santé (FIV) : Baccara est née d’une maman positive au FIV (« Sida du chat »). Son premier test est positif, mais ce résultat est temporaire. À son âge, il s’agit très probablement des anticorps de sa mère. Un second test de contrôle vers ses 6 mois permettra de confirmer son statut définitif. Vie au quotidien : Même si elle restait positive, le FIV ne se transmet ni aux humains ni aux autres animaux (hors chats) et n’empêche pas un chat de vivre très heureux, en intérieur, pendant de nombreuses années.
