Chispa, along with her companion Thor, were adopted but instead of finding a family to care for them, they were left on a farm where they would go every few months. To prevent them from escaping, they were chained up, and Chispa had a chain embedded in her skin, which had to be removed with vaseline. However, she has proven to be a very friendly, sociable, and playful dog with everyone.

Chispa, junto a su compañero Thor, fueron adoptados pero en lugar de encontrar una familia que los cuidara, los dejaron en una finca a la que iban cada varios meses y para evitar que se escaparan, los ataron con cadenas, Chispa la tenía incrustada en la piel y tuvieron que quitársela con vaselina. Sin embargo ha demostrado ser una perrita 10: amable, simpática y juguetona con todos. MI/M
