The sensitive female dog Daisy Mae is about 1.5 years old and currently lives in a foster home in Westoverledingen. When she arrived, she was extremely shy - and even today, she makes progress with cautious steps. But exactly these small steps show how much potential she has. Our mouse wants to develop and shake off all the horrors of the past! Unfortunately, there is currently a crucial problem: The commotion she is currently exposed to in the foster home is very difficult for our shy female dog. Daisy Mae lacks places to retreat, she is increasingly stressed and suffers - that's why it's best for her to move as soon as possible. Daisy Mae is an incredibly kind and gentle soul. She is still submissive and careful, but also peaceful and meek. Noises and quick movements scare her a lot right now, then she withdraws and prefers to observe the world from a distance. Despite her fears, Daisy Mae has already learned a lot: She comes quite confidently to eat, moves around with her fellow animals in the garden, is housebroken and can be easily petted. You can feel that she wants to build trust! What helps our Daisy Mae very much are the other dogs around her: she now goes out from the property - which almost resembles a miracle - and takes short walks on a leash. Her fellow animals in the foster home provide her with valuable support. That is why we are urgently looking for a home with a confident only dog who can give her stability. Another thing that stands out is that in the company of other dogs, she can already stay alone for several hours. With Daisy Mae, a hip dysplasia was detected by an X-ray immediately after her rescue in Romania and was operated on immediately. This congenital malformation of the hip joint causes no impairments for our shy mouse at the moment. They are not expected in the future either - Daisy Mae should still benefit from special exercises and possibly supplements to remain pain-free. For Daisy Mae we are looking for people with a big heart, composure, and the willingness to give her all the time in the world. She is not a dog that just "keeps up", but a sensitive personality that needs to arrive at her own pace. Whoever gives her this chance will be rewarded with a very special, deeply connected companion. Daisy Mae is a very delicate soul who finally wants to meet her family of the heart - we wish her so much happiness in the world! Daisy Mae is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and spayed. She will be going to a good home after a positive assessment. We would like to thank Claudia P. Die empfindsame Hündin Daisy Mae ist etwa eineinhalb Jahre alt und lebt aktuell auf einer Pflegestelle in Westoverledingen. Als sie ankam, war sie extrem ängstlich – und auch heute macht sie ihre Fortschritte mit vorsichtig auftretenden Pfoten. Aber genau diese kleinen Schritte zeigen, wie viel Potenzial in ihr steckt. Unsere Maus möchte sich entwickeln und all die Schrecken der Vergangenheit wegschütteln! Leider gibt es momentan ein entscheidendes Problem: Der Trubel, dem sie aktuell auf der Pflegestelle ausgesetzt ist, macht unserer so schüchternen Hündin sehr zu schaffen. Es fehlt Daisy Mae an Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, sie ist zunehmend gestresst und leidet – deshalb ist es das Beste für sie, schnellst möglichst umzuziehen. Daisy Mae ist eine unglaublich liebe und sanfte Seele. Sie zeigt sich noch immer unterwürfig und vorsichtig, ist aber auch friedlich und lammfromm. Geräusche sowie schnelle Bewegungen erschrecken sie aktuell sehr, dann zieht sie sich zurück und beobachtet die Welt lieber aus der Distanz. Trotz ihrer Ängste hat Daisy Mae bereits einiges gelernt: Sie kommt recht souverän zum Fressen, bewegt sich mit ihren Artgenossen im Garten, ist stubenrein und lässt sich problemlos streicheln. Man spürt, dass sie Vertrauen fassen möchte! Was unserer Daisy Mae sehr hilft, sind die anderen Hunde um sie herum: mittlerweile geht sie – was fast einem Wunder gleicht – hinaus aus dem Grundstück und absolviert kleinere Spaziergänge an der Leine. Ihre Artgenossen auf der Pflegestelle geben ihr dabei wertvolle Unterstützung. Deshalb suchen wir für sie unbedingt ein Zuhause mit einem souveränen Ersthund, der ihr Halt geben kann. Was zudem sehr auffällt: in Gesellschaft von Artgenossen kann sie schon mehrere Stunden allein bleiben. Bei Daisy Mae ist mithilfe einer Röntgenaufnahme, die unmittelbar nach ihrer Rettung in Rumänien getätigt wurde, eine Hüftdysplasie festgestellt worden und unverzüglich operiert worden. Diese meist genetisch bedingte Fehlentwicklung des Hüftgelenks beschert unserer schüchternen Maus aktuell keinerlei Beeinträchtigungen. Sie sind auch in Zukunft nicht zu erwarten – Daisy Mae sollte aber dennoch in den Genuss von speziellen Übungen und eventuell auch Futterzusatz kommen, damit sie weiterhin beschwerdefrei bleibt. Für Daisy Mae suchen wir Menschen mit einem großen Herzen, Besonnenheit und der Bereitschaft, ihr alle Zeit der Welt zu geben. Sie ist kein Hund, der „einfach mitläuft“, sondern eine sensible Persönlichkeit, die in ihrem Tempo ankommen muss. Wer ihr diese Chance gibt, wird mit einer ganz besonderen, tief verbundenen Gefährtin belohnt werden. Daisy Mae ist eine sehr zarte Seele, die endlich ihre Herzensfamilie kennenlernen möchte – wird wünschen ihr so sehr alles Glück dieser Erde! Daisy Mae ist geimpft, gechipt, entwurmt, entfloht und kastriert. Sie wird nach positiver Vorkontrolle gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit gültigem EU-Heimtierausweis vermittelt.
