A dog named Deser is approximately 2 years old and was found as a stray. He is currently in mandatory quarantine waiting for his owner to come forward. He arrived at the shelter very scared, uncertain, and withdrawn. The beginning was difficult for him but by the next day he chose an caregiver that he trusted. From then on he likes to stay close to her and clearly seeks support from her. When he feels safe, he becomes strongly attached to his human. Deser is a sensitive dog who needs time to open up to new people. We are looking for his owner and if no one comes forward we will look for him a calm, patient, and empathetic home. We believe that with the right caregiver he will regain confidence and become a loyal, devoted companion.
