Dexter is a sweet bouncy boy who is looking to live with children of an older secondary school age, with visiting children younger. He settles nicely in his kennel but doesn't like being left alone in the paddocks at the centre so is looking for someone who can gradually build up his leaving hours slowly. Dexter is quickly becoming a fan favourite around the centre and we know he will make the best companion to any family lucky enough to adopt him. Dexter is a lovely boy. He loves meeting people and dogs and finds life very exciting! Dexter typically travels nicely in the car though can become restless over long journeys. He has had some really nice interactions with dogs here at the centre and is able to live with another dog pending a successful meet here at the centre. He is is looking for a high level exercise household who can take him out on nice long adventures to help him burn his energy as well as helping him engage with metal enrichment to help tire out his active brain.
