Freddy is a lovely 5-year-old Bedlington Terrier with a friendly, affectionate nature and a real love of being close to his people. He’s a cuddly boy who enjoys fuss, likes being brushed, and will happily sit nicely while he’s groomed. Out and about, Freddy really enjoys his walks and loves taking in all the sights and smells around him. He can pull strongly at the start of a walk and again when heading home, but once he’s settled into the walk he stays nicely beside you and keeps an eye on you. Freddy is a clever boy who responds well to positive reinforcement. In the home, he can be alert to movement outside and may bark at people approaching the door, birds, or dogs he can see from the garden, so he’ll benefit from adopters who can help him settle with calm reassurance and management. Freddy can live with primary school-aged children, needs to be the only pet in the home, and would love his own private garden. He can be unsure around larger dogs, but he can enjoy walks with smaller dogs.
