Gracie (approx. 1 year) and her son George (approx. 12-15 weeks) are looking for people with patience, empathy and a big heart. Gracie is a very loving and patient mother cat. She has taken care of her little George with great devotion and shows a lot of care for the other kittens in the room opposite. However, she is still very shy around people. She is now venturing out of her hiding place more often and has even eaten while a caregiver was in the room - small but important progress. Gracie simply needs time to gain trust. Therefore, her future humans should be aware that she is not an immediately affectionate cat. George is also still a bit anxious, but he is already making great progress. He lets himself be touched, likes to play with the other kittens and cuddles up to them to sleep. With the right support, he will surely develop into a happy and affectionate cat. For both, we wish for the possibility of secure or suitable outdoor access in a quiet and safe environment after a sufficient acclimatization period. It would be best if Gracie and George could move into their new home together. If this is not possible, Gracie can also be placed with a confident, social cat that she can orientate herself around. Gracie (ca. 1 Jahr) und ihr Sohn George (ca. 12–15 Wochen) wünschen sich Menschen mit Geduld, Einfühlungsvermögen und einem großen Herzen. Gracie ist eine sehr liebe und geduldige Katzenmama. Sie hat sich rührend um ihren kleinen George gekümmert und zeigt auch den anderen Kitten im Zimmer gegenüber viel Fürsorge. Menschen gegenüber ist sie jedoch noch sehr scheu. Sie traut sich inzwischen immer häufiger aus ihrem Versteck und hat sogar schon gefressen, während eine Bezugsperson im Zimmer war – kleine, aber wichtige Fortschritte. Gracie braucht einfach Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Deshalb sollte ihren zukünftigen Menschen bewusst sein, dass sie keine sofort verschmuste Katze ist. George ist ebenfalls noch etwas ängstlich, macht aber schon große Fortschritte. Er lässt sich anfassen, spielt gerne mit den anderen Kitten und kuschelt sich zum Schlafen zu ihnen. Mit der richtigen Unterstützung wird er sich sicher zu einem fröhlichen und zutraulichen Kater entwickeln. Für beide wünschen wir uns nach einer ausreichenden Eingewöhnungszeit die Möglichkeit zu gesichertem bzw. geeignetem Freigang in einer ruhigen und sicheren Umgebung. Am schönsten wäre es, wenn Gracie und George gemeinsam in ihr neues Zuhause ziehen dürften. Sollte das nicht möglich sein, kann Gracie auch zu einer souveränen, sozialen Katze vermittelt werden, an der sie sich orientieren kann. George sollte ebenfalls nicht allein leben und zu einer etwa gleichaltrigen, verspielten Katze ziehen.
