Hello, I am Teddy. I unfortunately could not stay in my old home as my owners fell seriously ill and were no longer able to take care of me. If I knew my can opener a little better, I would be a totally loving and cuddly cat who enjoys being stroked and spoiled. I am very picky about my food and mostly only eat certain types of dry food. As I am not the youngest anymore, my kidneys are also not in the best condition, but at the moment I still do not need any medication for them and thankfully I also drink enough. I am not sure yet if I get along well with my fellow animals, as I have only been in the shelter for a short time. In my age, I need a lot of rest, so there should be no small children in my new home. Additionally, I would love to go outside and explore the world, but since I am not yet an experienced outdoor cat, my new home should be quite rural or peaceful. If you have a nice, warm spot for me free, come and meet me so I do not have to sit out my old age in the animal shelter.

Hallo, ich bin Teddy. Ich konnte leider nicht in meinem alten Zuhause bleiben, da meine Besitzer schwer krank geworden sind und sich deswegen nicht mehr um mich kümmern konnten. Wenn ich meine Dosenöffner etwas besser kenne, bin eine total liebe und verschmuste Katze, die sich gerne streicheln und verwöhnen lässt. Ich bin beim Essen sehr wählerisch und fresse fast nur bestimmte Trockenfuttersorten. Da ich nicht mehr die jüngste bin, sind meine Nieren auch leider nicht mehr die besten, doch zur Zeit benötige ich noch keine Medikamente dafür und trinke glücklicherweise auch ausreichend. Ob ich mich gut mit meinen Artgenossen verstehe, weiß ich noch nicht so genau, weil ich ja noch nicht so lange im Katzenhaus bin. In meinem Alter brauche ich viel Ruhe, deshalb sollten keine kleinen Kinder in meinem neuen Zuhause wohnen. Außerdem möchte ich unbedingt mal nach draußen, um die Welt zu erkunden. Da ich aber noch keine erfahrene Freigängerin bin, sollte mein neues Zuhause ziemlich ländlich oder beruhigt liegen. Wenn Ihr also noch ein schönes, warmes Plätzchen für mich frei habt, dann kommt mich doch gerne besuchen und lernt mich kennen, damit ich nicht noch auf meine alten Tage im Tierheim sitzen muss.
