Herbert lived for 2 and a half years in a garden where he was fed and lived a quiet life, but he was brought to us after a fight in which he was injured. Herbert does not like the shelter at all! He cannot stand being confined, and one can only understand this after having lived in total freedom. Because he is frustrated, he does not like other cats, but where he was before there was one and it worked very well. He is a kind cat but very independent, he likes to do what he wants and especially to express his dissatisfaction, indeed Herbert meows a lot because he is not happy with us. However, he can be very affectionate, it's just a matter of understanding the codes and stopping when he has had enough. We must absolutely find Herbert a home with an outside area so that he can live his little life as he did before when he was happy! He is FIV positive but for now is in good health! He can certainly live his little life as a cat without problems, we cannot predict anything with the FIV. Come meet him during our open days on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Herbert is microchipped, neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV, dewormed and treated for fleas.

Herbert a vécu 2 ans 1/2 dans un jardin où il était nourri et faisait sa petite vie tranquille mais il nous a été amené suite à une bagarre où il a été blessé. Herbert n’apprécie pas du tout le refuge! Il ne supporte pas d’être enfermé, on ne peut que le comprendre après avoir vécu la pleine liberté. Comme il est frustré il n’aime pas les autres chats mais là où il était avant il y en avait un et cela se passait très bien. C’est un chat gentil mais très indépendant, il aime faire ce qu’il veut et surtout exprimer son mécontentement, en effet Herbert miaule beaucoup car il n’est pas bien chez nous. Il peut se montrer pourtant très câlin il suffit de comprendre les codes et s’arrêter lorsqu’il en a marre. Nous devons absolument trouver à Herbert une maison avec un extérieur afin qu’il fasse sa petite vie comme avant lorsqu’il était heureux! Il est positif FIV mais pour le moment est en bonne santé! Il peut très bien vivre sa petite vie de chat sans soucis, nous ne pouvons rien prévoir avec le FIV. Venez le rencontrer lors de nos permanences les mercredis et samedis de 14h30 à 17h30. Herbert est identifié par puce électronique, castré, vacciné, testé négatif Felv, vermifugé et traité contre les puces.
