No one, however, has given up: with the proper care and rehabilitation, now ISA, with her cart, can walk in the lawn and even run towards the volunteers to be cuddled. She needs daily care and a special grooming, but the way she looks at Federica, Azzurra and Paola, who take care of her like a baby, shows them all the affection of a grateful creature. Seeing ISA run, seeing her smile and live a full life, despite her disability, is pure joy.

Nessuno, però, si è dato per vinto: con le cure e la riabilitazione adeguate, ora Isa, con il suo carrellino, può andare a spasso per il prato e anche correre incontro alle volontarie per farsi coccolare. Ha bisogno quotidianamente di cure e di una particolare toeletta, ma il modo in cui guarda Federica, Azzurra e Paola, che la accudiscono come un neonato, mostra loro tutto l’affetto di una creatura riconoscente. Veder correre Isa, vederla sorridere e vivere una vita piena, malgrado l’handicap, è pura gioia.
