Karen arrived at our shelter on June 19, 2024. From the first day, we've seen that she is a very shy cat, sensitive to changes and the presence of unfamiliar people. She needs time and a calm environment to feel safe. Although she still doesn't fully trust, Karen shows small advances when given space, patience, and stable routines. She doesn't enjoy being petted, but she does observe a lot around her and seeks refuge in places where she feels protected. With the right companionship, she could gradually gain confidence. We are looking for a home that understands her reserved nature and is willing to respect her pace. She is not a cat for those seeking immediate affection, but rather for someone who wants to offer her a calm life without pressure, where she can evolve at her own pace. With love and consistency, she can find the security she needs.

Karen llegó a la protectora el 19 de junio de 2024. Desde el primer día, hemos visto que es una gata muy miedosa, sensible a los cambios y a la presencia de personas desconocidas. Necesita tiempo y un entorno tranquilo para sentirse segura. Aunque aún no se atreve a confiar del todo, Karen muestra pequeños avances cuando se le ofrece espacio, paciencia y rutinas estables. No es una gata que disfrute de las caricias, pero sí observa mucho a su alrededor y se refugia en lugares donde se siente protegida. Con el acompañamiento adecuado, podría ir ganando confianza poco a poco. Buscamos para ella un hogar que comprenda su carácter reservado y esté dispuesto a respetar sus tiempos.
