Personality:Kimon came into our care due to his owner sadly passing away. He settled quickly in the cattery environment and makes friends easily. Kimon will occasionally sit on staffs laps but loves nothing more than lying close to you. He is happy pottering around the cattery floor but will often check in for some gentle strokes. Kimon would love his new owner or owners to be around a lot of the time. Behaviour:As much as Kimon is a slightly older gentleman looking for a calm and peaceful home, he will still have a funny 5 minutes playing with some of his toys, his long stick toy and fish being his favourites which he can get very animated with! Once he’s worn himself out he will find the sunny spot in the cattery and lay on his back catching some rays. Housing:Kimon will need a calm and quiet home with outside access to a private garden. He cannot be homed in the PO16 or SO51 areas. Children/pets:Kimon will need an adult only home as he did not cope living with children in one of his previous homes, he choose to move in with an elderly couple where he was much happier. He cannot live with other cats or dogs, as he showed disliking to neighbouring cats in the previous home so we feel he would prefer to be an only pet Vet history:Kimon is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Kimon has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption. Adoption fee:The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated. Additional information:All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
