Lizzie came to us together with Lou and Lester after being rescued by the Košice City Police from inappropriate conditions at Luník IX, where the dogs initially lived on the balcony and later in the basement. The beginning for Lizzie was not easy - the first days she was very frightened and tried to defend herself out of fear. It wasn't aggression, but pure fear of an unknown environment and people. However, it only took a few days of calm, patience and treats, and Lizzie gradually became much more confident female dog. Now she perceives people positively, allows herself to be petted, cooperates during handling and makes great progress every day. She is curious, likes to discover new things and the environment. She is slowly getting used to the leash, where some work is still needed, because out of curiosity and enthusiasm she sometimes pulls. Lizzie has an active and playful nature, is starting to get familiar with toys and has a desire to play. Inside she behaves politely, doesn't destroy things and has good hygiene habits with regular walks. Handling is already problem-free. She hasn't been tested with other dogs or female dogs yet - we will update this information soon. Lizzie is looking for a home in an apartment or house with access inside, with people who will give her a peaceful and loving approach. After everything she has been through, she has a chance to live a happy and safe life in a loving environment where nothing will be missing.

Lizzie k nám prišla spolu s Louom a Lesterom po odchyte Mestskej polície Košice z nevhodných podmienok na Luníku IX, kde psíky najskôr žili na balkóne a neskôr v pivnici. Začiatky pre Lizzie neboli jednoduché – prvé dni bola veľmi vystrašená a zo strachu mala snahu brániť sa. Nešlo o agresiu, ale o čistý strach z neznámeho prostredia a ľudí. Stačilo však pár dní pokoja, trpezlivosti a piškót a z Lizzie sa postupne stala oveľa istejšia fenočka. Teraz už človeka vníma pozitívne, nechá sa hladkať, spolupracuje pri manipulácii a robí veľké pokroky každý deň. Je zvedavá, rada spoznáva nové veci a prostredie. Pomaly si zvyká aj na vodítko, kde je ešte potrebné popracovať, pretože zo zvedavosti a nadšenia občas ťahá. Lizzie má aktívnu a hravú povahu, začína sa zoznamovať s hračkami a má chuť sa hrať. Vo vnútri sa správa slušne, veci neničí a hygienické návyky má pri pravidelnom venčení zvládnuté. Manipulácia je už bezproblémová. S inými psami ani fenkami zatiaľ nebola odskúšaná – túto informáciu budeme ešte aktualizovať. Lizzie si hľadá domov v byte alebo v dome s prístupom dovnútra, u ľudí, ktorí jej doprajú pokojný a láskavý prístup. Po tom všetkom, čím si prešla, má pred sebou šancu žiť veselý a bezpečný život v milujúcom prostredí, kde jej nebude nič chýbať.
