After being spayed, she stayed in a foster home for a couple of weeks before coming to us. She is an incredibly social soul who gets along with almost every other dog she meets. Lucky brings the perfect balance of playfulness and joy, while also adding calm and de-escalation to any group. She’s the social glue, so to speak. Whether it’s Rocco, Ciabattino, or the rest of the warehouse gang – Lucky is the star shining in the background. Sadly, she continues to be overlooked and doesn’t receive the recognition she so deeply deserves. We want to change that today! Lucky is a funny, affectionate and playful girl who truly loves both people and other dogs. Because of her prey drive, she should not be placed in a home with cats or other non-dog animals. Update March 2025: Lucky is an all-around superstar! She’s a happy, confident girl who gets along great with other dogs. Always ready for some fun, Lucky is playful and full of energy, but she also knows how to set her boundaries when needed. Lucky’s a people-loving sweetheart who adores cuddles, napping in the sun, and snuggling up in her comfy blanket – always better with a friend! Her story? Update January 2025: Lucky is a new girl in our shelter. She was born in January 2023. Lucky was found pregnant by a guy. After her neutering she went to a foster who couldn't keep her. Now she's with us. She is medium size. She’s great with both people and dogs.
