Her two hind legs were injured, it is assumed that she was hit by a car. Since she was friendly and nice, she could be brought to a vet right away, and it turned out that nothing was broken. One of her legs had to be splinted, and the wound healing took quite a long time, she ended up with a few scars, but she is no longer bothered by it, she is fit, athletic, and agile. She stayed with the volunteer in care and is now looking for her own home. Mai is a young female dog who stands out through her joie de vivre, intelligence, and enormous attachment. She is very playful, active, and curious, but at the same time very smart and with great learning potential. Thanks to her high food motivation, she is easy to train and learns commands very quickly. To people she knows, Mai is very cuddly, a true "clinging dog": she enjoys her people's attention, likes cuddles, and loves to play with them. But she also shows herself to be open, friendly, and contact-seeking towards strangers. She usually sniffs briefly and then immediately invites to play – and after a few minutes, she behaves as if she has known the person for a long time. She meets other dogs she already knows very playfully. She loves to play and cuddle with them, but not all the existing dogs are always in the mood. With unfamiliar dogs, she is initially cautious but can be convinced relatively quickly if the other dog is friendly. With smaller dogs, she warms up quickly and plays exuberantly, while large dogs make her a bit afraid at first. Mai gets along excellently with cats. Her best friend is the tomcat of the foster family, with whom she regularly plays. She also wants to make contact with the other cats – but not all are as enthusiastic about her playful nature. She already knows several commands like "sit," "no," "out," and "paw" and enjoys learning new things. On the leash, she runs very orderly, even though she still looks at the harness a bit skeptically. In the city, she does well as long as she is not confronted with too much traffic and noise. In the countryside, she is more relaxed and enjoys walks particularly. Playing is her greatest passion – with people, dogs, cats, or simply with herself. In the evening, she often runs through the garden alone with a plush toy or a ball in her mouth, and puts on her own play show. At home, she shows exemplary behavior: she is house-trained, has never broken anything, and likes to sleep both in the bed and in her dog bed. She has quickly learned the house rules, and although she is a bit of a glutton, she respects the other animals and has never tried to steal their food or the cats' food. She occasionally carries shoes through the apartment – but more out of playfulness, she has not broken anything. The vacuum cleaner is still not her friend, but she has no problem with other household appliances. Mai is athletic and agile, she easily overcomes fences up to 1–1.2 m high. Dog sports could be something for her. Water, however, is (still) not her element: neither the dog pool nor the river could convince her to swim yet. In the car, Mai travels calmly without nausea or fear. She likes to look out the window, but she still does not get in by herself – that is still being worked on. Mai is a female dog with a lot of energy, love, and joie de vivre. Whoever gives her a home gets a playful, smart, and very people-oriented companion – ready to learn new things, experience adventures, and win hearts. Ihre beiden Hinterläufe waren verletzt, es ist anzunehmen, dass sie von einem Auto angefahren wurde. Da sie freundlich und nett war, konnte sie gleich zu einem Tierarzt gebracht werden und es stellte sich heraus, dass nichts gebrochen war. Eins der Beine musste geschient werden und die Wundverheilung dauerte ziemlich lange, sie ist mit ein paar Narben geblieben, aber es ist ihr nichts mehr anzumerken, sie ist fit, sportlich und agil. Sie blieb bei der Volontärin in Pflege und sucht nun ihr eigenes Zuhause. Mai ist eine junge Hündin die durch ihre Lebensfreude, Intelligenz und enorme Anhänglichkeit auffällt. Sie ist sehr verspielt, aktiv und neugierig, aber zugleich auch sehr klug und mit großem Lernpotenzial. Dank ihrer hohen Futtermotivation lässt sie sich leicht trainieren und lernt Kommandos sehr schnell. Zu Menschen, die sie kennt, ist Mai sehr verschmust, ein echter „Kletten Hund“: Sie genießt die Aufmerksamkeit ihrer Menschen, mag Streicheleinheiten und liebt es mit ihnen zu spielen. Aber auch gegenüber Fremden zeigt sie sich offen, freundlich und kontaktfreudig. Meist schnuppert sie kurz und fordert dann direkt zum Spiel auf – und nach wenigen Minuten verhält sie sich, als würde sie die Person schon ewig kennen. Hunden, die sie bereits kennt, begegnet sie sehr verspielt. Sie liebt es sehr mit diesen zu spielen und kuscheln, nur haben die vorhandenen Hunde nicht immer Lust dazu. Mit unbekannten Hunden ist sie erstmals vorsichtig, lässt sich aber relativ schnell überzeugen, wenn der andere Hund freundlich ist. Bei kleineren Hunden taut sie schnell auf und spielt ausgelassen, große Hunde machen ihr Angst am Anfang. Mit Katzen versteht sich Mai hervorragend. Ihr bester Freund ist der Kater der Pflegefamilie, mit dem sie regelmäßig spielt. Auch mit den anderen Katzen möchte sie gern Kontakt aufnehmen – doch nicht alle sind so begeistert von ihrer verspielten Art. Sie kennt bereits mehrere Kommandos wie „Sitz“, „Nein“, „Aus“ und „Pfote“ und es macht ihr Spaß auch Neues zu lernen. An der Leine läuft sie sehr ordentlich, auch wenn sie das Geschirr noch etwas skeptisch betrachtet. In der Stadt kommt sie gut zurecht, solange sie nicht mit zu viel Verkehr und Lärm konfrontiert wird. Auf dem Land ist sie entspannter und genießt Spaziergänge besonders. Spielen ist ihre größte Leidenschaft – mit Menschen, Hunden, Katzen oder einfach mit sich selbst. Abends flitzt sie oft allein durch den Garten, ein Plüschtier oder einen Ball im Maul, und veranstaltet ihre eigene Spielshow. Im Haus zeigt sie ein vorbildliches Verhalten: Sie ist stubenrein, hat noch nie etwas zerstört und schläft sowohl gern im Bett als auch in ihrem Körbchen. Sie hat die Hausregeln sehr schnell gelernt, und obwohl sie verfressen ist, respektiert sie die anderen Tiere und hat nie versucht deren Futter oder das der Katzen zu klauen. Ab und zu trägt sie Schuhe durch die Wohnung – aber mehr aus Spieltrieb, sie hat nichts kaputt gemacht. Der Staubsauger ist noch nicht ihr Freund, aber ansonsten hat sie kein Problem mit anderen Haushaltsgeräten. Mai ist sportlich und agil sie überwindet locker Zäune bis 1–1,2 m Höhe. Hundesport könnte was für sie sein. Wasser hingegen ist (noch) nicht ihr Element: Weder der Hundepool noch der Fluss konnten sie bislang zum Baden überreden. Im Auto fährt Mai ruhig mit, ohne Übelkeit oder Angst. Sie schaut gerne aus dem Fenster, steigt aber noch nicht allein ein – daran wird noch gearbeitet. Mai ist eine Hündin mit viel Energie, Liebe und Lebensfreude. Wer ihr ein Zuhause gibt, bekommt eine verspielte, kluge und sehr menschenbezogene Gefährtin – bereit, Neues zu lernen, Abenteuer zu erleben und Herzen im Sturm zu erobern. Alle unsere Hunde sind natürlich geimpft, entwurmt und gechippt mit EU-Pass!
