I’m Majka—a cautious, initially mistrustful, yet loving velvet paw. Here’s the story: I was found—and as you can see in the photo, I’m rather shy. New situations and changes make me feel a bit uncertain at first. That’s why I need people who’ll give me the time I need to settle in and gradually gain confidence. Once I feel safe, I thoroughly enjoy being close to my humans. I especially love getting brushed and am thrilled by any kind of affectionate attention. I’m happiest when I’m eating together with others. Unfortunately, I’m also a so-called “breed-specific breed”—a result of selective breeding—and that’s why I’m already receiving pain medication. It’s therefore crucial that my future humans educate themselves thoroughly beforehand and commit to supporting me long-term. Of course, my caregivers are more than happy to provide detailed advice on this topic. I’d like to find a loving, calm home as an only princess—preferably without young children. My people should have plenty of time for me and understand that I’ll be rather reserved at first. If you approach me with patience, you’ll win a loyal and cuddly companion. If you’d like to offer a loving home to a sensitive cat with special needs, I’d be delighted to meet you. With a little patience, I’ll show you just how much love is inside me.

Ich bin Majka eine vorsichtige, anfangs misstrauische, aber liebe Samtpfote. Das bin ich: Ich wurde gefunden – und wie man auf dem Foto auch sieht, bin ich eher von der scheuen Sorte. Neue Situationen und Veränderungen machen mich zunächst etwas unsicher. Deshalb brauche ich Menschen, die mir die Zeit geben zum Ankommen und mutig werden. Wenn ich mich sicher fühle, genieße ich die Nähe zu meinen Menschen sehr. Besonders gern lasse ich mich bürsten und freue mich über jede liebevolle Aufmerksamkeit. Am liebsten fresse ich in Gesellschaft. Außerdem bin ich leider eine sogenannte Qualzucht und bekomme deshalb bereits Schmerzmittel. Es ist deshalb wichtig, dass sich meine zukünftigen Menschen vorab gut darüber informieren und mich auch wirklich langfristig unterstützen. Meine Tierpfleger:innen beraten dazu natürlich auch ausführlich. Ich wünsche mir ein liebevolles, ruhiges Zuhause als Einzelprinzessin ohne Kleinkinder. Meine Menschen sollten viel Zeit für mich haben und Verständnis dafür mitbringen, dass ich anfangs eher zurückhaltend bin. Wer mir mit Geduld begegnet, gewinnt eine treue und verschmuste Begleiterin. Wenn du einer sensiblen Katze mit besonderem Unterstützungsbedarf ein liebevolles Zuhause schenken möchtest, freue ich mich darauf, dich kennenzulernen. Mit etwas Geduld werde ich dir zeigen, wie viel Liebe in mir steckt.
