Marilino, a street cat, was the victim of a car accident in early April. The driver failed to stop to check on the injured animal. The severely injured stray cat dragged himself into the bushes at the roadside with his last strength and waited for death. Thankfully, he was found by attentive people who brought him to L.I.D.A. He had to be taken to the animal clinic immediately as he suffered a severe facial trauma and had lost his sight in his left eye due to numerous fractures. Marilino has been slowly recovering over the past few months. For a street cat, he is already quite old - he is estimated to be 10 years old. When he was castrated, fate struck again: Marilino tested positive for FeLV. The fact that he was able to live with this virus for so long shows what a fighter he is. Marilino is very grateful to the people who helped him and has become very affectionate in the animal shelter. However, since his life clock is ticking loudly and he should not expect his end there, the dear cat is now one of our most urgent emergencies. I am now looking for a foster home or a forever home for Marilino as soon as possible. He can also be kept as a single cat if there is no FeLV WG for him to join. Peace, tranquility, and a warm bed are already paradise for our dear senior, who never had it. The cat is microchipped, neutered, and vaccinated against rabies and cat flu/distemper before departure. I look forward to calls or emails and all serious inquiries for Marilino and hope he can travel soon.

Anfang April wurde Marilino Opfer eines Zusammenpralls mit einem Auto. Der Fahrer hat nicht angehalten, um nach dem verletzten Tier zu sehen. Der schwer verletzte Streuner-Kater schleppte sich mit letzter Kraft noch ins Gebüsch am Straßenrand und wartete auf den Tod. Gott sei Dank wurde er noch von aufmerksamen Menschen gefunden, die ihn in die L.I.D.A. brachten. Er musste sofort in die Tierklinik, denn er hatte ein schweres Gesichtstrauma erlitten und neben der zahlreichen Frakturen auch das Sehvermögen auf seinem linken Auge verloren . Marilino hat sich in den letzten Monaten Schritt für Schritt zurückgekämpft ins Leben. Für eine Straßenkatze hat er bereits ein relativ hohes Alter – er wird auf 10 Jahre geschätzt. Als er kastriert werden konnte, s chlug das Schicksal noch mal zu: Marilino ist FeLV positiv . Die Tatsache, dass er mit diesem Virus bereits so alt werden konnte, zeigt wiederum, was für eine Kämpfernatur er ist. Marilino ist den Menschen sehr dankbar, die ihm geholfen haben und ist im Tierheim sehr zutraulich geworden . Da seine Lebensuhr aber laut tickt und er dort nicht sein Ende erwarten soll, ist der liebe Schatz nun einer unserer dringlichsten Notfälle. Für Marilino suche ich nun baldmöglichst eine Pflegestelle oder ein Endzuhause . Er kann auch gerne als Einzelkatze gehalten werden, wenn sich keine FeLV-WG findet, in die er einziehen kann. Ruhe, Frieden und ein warmes Körbchen sind für unseren lieben Senior schon das Paradies, das er nie hatte. Der Kater ist gechippt, kastriert, und bei Ausreise gegen Tollwut , Katzenschnupfen/-seuche geimpft. Ich freue mich über Anrufe oder Emails und alle ernst gemeinten Anfragen für Marilino und wünsche mir, dass er schon bald ausreisen darf.
