English Bulldog · Θηλυκό

Μαρνι Παρακαλώ γνωρίστε την νεότερη αδελφή της Εντιθ, η Μαρνι έρχεται σε πολύ παρόμοια κατάσταση με την αδελφή της. Την έφεραν έξω σε ένα φούρνο κατά τη διάρκεια του καλοκαιριού, αφήνοντάς την να φροντίζει τον εαυτό της - ασφαλής από άμεσο κίνδυνο, αλλά χωρίς τη θερμότητα, τη φροντίδα και την αγάπη που της αξιούσε. Η Μαρνι είναι ένα 5 ετών ακόλαστο κορίτσι που έχει τώρα ένα τρομακτικό βήχα. Θα τη φέρουμε στον κτηνίατρο το συντομότερο δυνατόν για να εξεταστεί σωστά. Επίσης, έχει ανοιχτά τραύματα στην πλάτη της που φαίνονται πολύ πονερά και ανέχονται. Η Μαρνι έχει αρχίσει να εισαγάγεται στο φροντιδευτικό σπίτι στη Μεσογεία με την Κέισι, η οποία τη φροντίζει για πρώτη φορά για εμάς. Είμαστε πολύ ευτυχισμένοι που την υποδεχόμαστε στην ομάδα! Σας ευχαριστούμε Κέισι για την ταχεία σας συλλογή της Μαρνι και για να της δώσετε ένα ήρεμο, ασφαλές χώρο για να αποκατασταθεί. Παρά τα όλα, η Μαρνι δείχνει ήδη ποια είναι μια αγαπητή και υπομονετική κοπέλα. Και οι δύο αδελφές έχουν δεχτεί πολύ λίγη προσοχή πρόσφατα, και απορροφούν την άνεση και τη φροντίδα της ζωής φροντιδευτικού. Παρακαλούμε συμμετάσχετε μαζί μας για να χαιρετίσετε θερμά τη Μαρνι. Εφόσον η Μαρνι έρχεται μόλις στη φροντιδευτική φροντίδα, δεν είναι ακόμα διαθέσιμη για αποκτήσεις. Παρακαλούμε να μην υποβάλετε αιτήσεις ή να καταγράψετε ενδιαφέρον τώρα. Οποιεσδήποτε αιτήσεις που λάβουμε τώρα δεν θα ληφθούν υπόψη μέχρι να αλλάξει η κατάστασή της από Στη Φροντιδευτική Στην Αίτηση Διαθεσιμότητας. Ακολουθήστε τη Μαρνι Για περισσότερες ενημερώσεις για όλα τα σκυλιά μας παρακαλούμε να συμμετάσχετε στην ομάδα μας. Να απαντήσετε στην ερώτηση, διαφορετικά η αίτησή σας θα απορριφθεί. {"slide_to_show":"3","slide_to_scroll":"1","autoplay":"true","autoplay_speed":"3000","speed":"800","arrows":"true","dots":"false","loop":"true","centermode":"false"}

Dogs name: Marnie Age: 5 Current location: Wolverhampton I CAN LIVE WITH Children: yes, dog savvy Cats: No Dogs: No A BIT ABOUT ME Personality: Marnie is an incredibly loving, calm and affectionate girl with a funny, quirky personality that makes everyone fall in love with her. She adores human company and wants to be involved in absolutely everything you are doing. If you sit down, she will melt into you for tummy rubs, paw gently for attention and happily become your shadow around the house. Although Marnie can appear shy and a little nervous when first meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her affectionate and slightly bossy side to come out. She quickly builds trust and forms strong bonds with her people. She is especially gentle and caring with children, often sitting close by when they are upset or unwell and nudging them for comfort. Marnie has lots of funny little quirks that make her personality shine. After toileting she gets the cutest zoomies, shuffling around with her bum tucked in before quickly tiring herself out. If she is told “no,” she throws adorable little tantrums by rolling onto her back and wriggling dramatically across the floor. Overall, Marnie is a soft, loving soul with a calm nature that brings comfort to everyone around her. She has so much love to give and will make an incredibly devoted companion to a very lucky family. Behaviour: Marnie enjoys calm, gentle play and loves praise and attention more than toys. She is very affectionate with physical contact, enjoys cuddles and kisses, and loves being brushed and pampered. Marnie is happiest in a home where she can spend lots of time with her people and be included in family life. Marnie is responsive to simple commands including “sit,” “off,” “in,” and “let’s go,” and she responds particularly well to calm verbal guidance. She does not display any resource guarding around food, toys or handling, and remains relaxed when people approach her food or belongings. In the home, Marnie is quiet and calm overall. She has adapted well to family life, copes well with household noise and has shown no issues around children. She is also relaxed around everyday sounds and situations, including fireworks and busy environments. Needs: Marnie would thrive in a home where she has plenty of companionship and can be included in day-to-day life. She enjoys routine and settles best when she knows what to expect, particularly around feeding times and daily structure. A home where somebody is around for a good portion of the day would suit her well, as she enjoys company and being close to her people. Marnie would benefit from a calm to moderately active environment with adopters who can continue guiding her gently and consistently. While she enjoys walks and getting out and about, she is not a high-energy dog and is happiest with a balanced lifestyle that includes both activity and relaxation. Marnie would ideally like access to a secure garden where she can potter around, enjoy toilet breaks and have the occasional burst of zoomies. She is also used to having a crate available as her safe and comfortable sleeping space, so her new family should be happy to continue this setup. Due to her reactions towards certain dogs when out on walks, Marnie would be best suited as the only dog in the home. She would also need owners who are mindful and confident when managing dog encounters in public. A quieter walking environment would help her continue to feel settled and secure. Marnie could live with children and has shown herself to be gentle and appropriate around them. She would suit a family home just as much as a quieter adult-only home, provided she receives plenty of love, attention and inclusion from her adopters. Her ideal family will be patient, affectionate and looking for a loyal companion who simply wants to be part of everyday life. Walk/exercise: Marnie is very easy to walk and has a calm, relaxed approach to exercise. She walks nicely on the lead without pulling and is happiest strolling alongside her handler, taking in her surroundings at a steady pace. She does not need excessive exercise and is more suited to enjoyable daily walks rather than long, intense outings. She enjoys getting out and about and is very enthusiastic when she realises she is going for a walk, often heading straight towards the front door or car. Marnie travels well for walks and settles happily during journeys. Around other dogs, Marnie is generally polite with calm and submissive dogs, happily greeting them with a sniff before moving on. However, if another dog reacts to her by barking or becoming overexcited, she can respond by barking and pulling back. Because of this, she benefits from calm handling and sensible management around busier walking areas. Marnie is currently walked on lead at all times, as she can become distracted outdoors and does not fully understand road awareness. She would suit adopters who are happy to continue lead walks and provide safe, structured exercise in quieter environments. Overall, Marnie enjoys exercise as part of her daily routine but is ultimately a relaxed companion who is just as happy spending time at home with her people afterwards. Toilet trained: Yes, Marnie is toilet trained. She will go to the back door when she needs to be let outside and understands a simple “let’s go” command for toilet time. She is also in a good routine with going out after meals and after baths. Travel: Marnie travels very well and clearly enjoys being in the car. Whenever she realises she is going out, she will often head straight towards the car ready for the journey ahead. She settles quickly during travel and is happy to either sit comfortably or lie down and sleep for the duration of the trip. Marnie travels securely belted into a seat and has shown herself to be calm and relaxed during journeys, making her an easy companion to take out and about. Because of this we would consider homes up to four hours away from her foster home. We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs. **TRANSPORTING DURING WARMER WEATHER IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CAR AS COOL AS POSSIBLE** Things to be aware of: In the home, Marnie enjoys routine, particularly around feeding times, and can become unsettled if her meals are delayed or changed unexpectedly. She is currently fed Purina Hypoallergenic food and takes Zenrelia for her allergies, both of which will need to be continued in her new home. Marnie also requires regular medicated baths to help with her allergies. She would also be best suited to a dog-free home, as she is most comfortable being the only pet in the household. Sometimes Marnie is excited to play but doesn’t realise her size, any young children in the home must be supervised, as Marnie has the potential to jump and knock children over. Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted. Additional information from Marnie’s foster family: Marnie is so loving her calm nature has healed a part of our family. She’s ready to scratch her furever family’s legs with her bottom teeth to let you know she's there. She's there to lean against you and hold you up when you’re doing the washing up or cooking and she'll even clean up the bits you drop. Marnie is going to love whoever adopts her to her fullest and she will fill whatever void you've been missing Marnie’s adoption donation fee is £400 and will need to be paid in full prior to her going home which will also be subject to a home check. **Every dog rehomed by GBSR receives Rescue Back-up for their whole Life. Marnie Please meet Edith’s younger sister, Marnie has sadly come to us in a very similar condition to her sister. She was being kept outside in a summer house, left to fend for herself — safe from immediate danger, but without the warmth, care, and love she deserved Marnie is a 5-year-old unspayed girl who currently has a terrible cough. We’ll be getting her to the vets as soon as possible to have this properly assessed. She also has several open sores on her back that look incredibly sore and uncomfortable Marnie is now settling into foster in the Midlands with Casey, who is fostering for us for the very first time. We’re so excited to welcome her to the team! Thank you, Casey, for collecting Marnie so quickly and giving her a calm, safe space to decompress. Despite everything, Marnie is already showing us what a loving and gentle girl she is. Both sisters have had very little attention recently, and they are absolutely soaking up the comfort and care of foster life Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Marnie. As Marnie has only just arrived into foster care, she is not yet available for adoption. Please do not submit applications or register interest at this time. Any applications received now will not be considered until her status changes from In Foster to Applications Available Follow Marnie For more updates on all our dogs please join our community group Remember to answer the question, otherwise your request will be denied. {"slide_to_show":"3","slide_to_scroll":"1","autoplay":"true","autoplay_speed":"3000","speed":"800","arrows":"true","dots":"false","loop":"true","centermode":"false"}
