Say hello to Mary! Mary is a 17 year old, 14.3hh, skewbald, cob, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion. Mary is looking for a quiet home environment and to be able to spend time interacting with her new fosterer. Mary would benefit from having time to settle in to her new home and new companion. Mary enjoys attention and would enjoy building a bond with her new fosterer. Mary is a very loving mare who can be nervous of new situations, she would benefit from an understanding fosterer to slowly build trust to allow her loving personality shine through. Stabling/Shelter Companionship Forage & Feed Feet & Teeth Vices Vet & Medication Stabling/Shelter: Currently living out 24/7 with access to a field shelter. Mary can become unsettled when left alone in the field, she is nervous to stable so would benefit from a home where she can live out all year round with a friend. Companionship: Mary happily lives with most horses, she has a good nature around others and enjoys their company. Mary is a good ‘nanny’ horse to younger horses and would suit a retirement type home to always be with another horse as she becomes unsettled when on her own. Forage/Feed: Grazing 24/7 and hay given if grazing becomes too sparse. Medication: N/A Farrier: Mary is barefoot and trimmed every 6-8weeks, she can be nervous of the farrier, daily feet picking out will help with this.
