Nera is still young, yet she has already experienced how quickly a life can change. She was living together with another dog at Lake Filea when, one day, out of fear of a human, she ran into the street. A car hit her head-on. Nevertheless, she immediately got back on her feet and ran away, screaming in pain. It wasn't until many hours later that she could be found. Frightened, she lay in a ditch along the bank of a small stream. Whenever someone approached her, she tried to move even further away. Eventually, it was a fisherman who climbed down to her and carefully brought her to safety. Miraculously, Nera had neither broken bones nor internal injuries. Physically, she was able to heal—but trust in humans is returning only slowly. Today, Nera makes small progress every single day. At first, she approaches strangers cautiously and prefers to observe from a safe distance. But once she realizes that no one means her any harm, she shows just how much affection she has inside. Then she enjoys the closeness of her trusted people and happily embraces shared moments together. Nera gets along well with other dogs. As for whether she knows cats, we can't say at this time. Since Nera has hardly had any opportunities to get to know new things so far, much of her new life will be completely new territory for her. Living indoors, going for walks in unfamiliar surroundings, everyday noises, visitors, or car rides—she'll discover all these things step by step. She, too, is still in the middle of her development. With patience, loving consistency, and a positively oriented dog training school, she'll learn to gain confidence and build trust. For Nera, we'd like to find a calm, rather rural home with people who don't have quick expectations of her. A hectic daily routine or life right in the middle of the city would probably overwhelm her. She needs people who rejoice in small improvements and give her the time she needs to set her own pace. Nera is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-treated, and spayed/neutered. She travels with an EU pet passport and will be placed after a positive pre-check, signing a protection contract, and paying a protection fee.
