Description NOE, the fighter. NOE was found in the middle of a road, standing still, not responding to the honks of cars to get out of the way. Fortunately, a couple passing in the opposite direction noticed the situation and did not hesitate to stop their car to pick her up. Given her condition, the first thought was that she had been hit by a car, so when they brought her to the animal shelter for help, the first thing they did was take her to a collaborating veterinary clinic. After multiple tests, it was observed that what was happening to her was not due to being hit by a car but rather months of neglect, inappropriate feeding, and abandonment. For these reasons, Noe has kidney damage (renal insufficiency) but also has Leishmania. Yes, you read that right, this relatively common disease in dogs but very rarely occurs in cats. She has been given treatment for kidney function, and as soon as she stabilizes, treatment for Leishmania will begin. Noe has a long road to recovery, but with everyone's help, she will receive as much care as needed. If you believe you can give Noe a home to recover, adopt her or through foster care (we will cover all veterinary expenses), do not hesitate to contact us. Descripción NOE, la luchadora. A NOE la encontraron en medio de una carretera, parada, sin responder a los pitidos de los coches para que se apartara. Afortunadamente, una pareja que pasaba en sentido contrario se dio cuenta de la situación y no dudo en detener su coche para recogerla. Por la situación en la que se encontraba, lo primero que se pensó era que había sido atropellada, por lo que cuando la llevaron al albergue para pedir ayuda lo primero que se hizo fue llevarla a una clínica veterinaria colaboradora. Después de múltiples pruebas se observó que lo que le ocurría no era fruto de un atropello si no de muchos meses de falta de cuidados, alimentación inapropiada y abandono. Por tales motivos, Noe tiene el riñón dañado (insuficiencia renal) pero también tiene leishmania. Sí, habéis leído bien, está enfermedad relativamente común en perros pero que muy raramente se da en gatos. Se le ha puesto tratamiento para la función renal y en cuanto se estabilice se empezará a tratar para leishmania. Noe tiene un largo camino de recuperación pero entre todos se le dará tantos cuidados como sea necesario. Si crees que puedes dar a Noe un hogar donde recuperarse, adoptada o bien de acogida (nos haríamos cargo de todos los gastos veterinarios) no dudes en ponerte en contacto con nosotras, y si no puedes acogerla pero piensas que se merece una oportunidad y quieres ayudarla, siempre puedes apadrinarla para contribuir a sus gatos.
