Poppy is a wonderfully friendly 6 year old Staffie cross who has quickly become a favourite at the centre. She loves people, greeting you with a wagging tail, and absolutely adores playing fetch with her toys. Poppy enjoys her walks, travels brilliantly in the car, and takes treats gently. She’s a fun, loving, and loyal girl who will make a fantastic companion. Poppy can live with children of an upper secondary school age and over. When meeting dogs here at the centre, Poppy will choose to avoid them and doesn't like to say hello so would be best as the only dog in the home. She can't live with cats but could live with small pets if kept separate. Poppy can be more wary of males so would like adopters that have the ability to separate visitors in the home and are happy keeping her on a lead out and about. Poppy would also love her own private secure garden due to this.
