Rio is a happy, affectionate Springer Spaniel with a real zest for life. Whether he's chasing after his favourite ball, heading out on an adventure or snuggling up for a fuss, he throws himself into everything with enthusiasm. He loves meeting people and is always ready to make a new friend, winning everyone over with his waggy tail and affectionate nature. Like many clever Spaniels, Rio enjoys having both his body and brain kept busy, so he'll thrive with a family who are excited to include him in their everyday lives. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who's full of personality and always ready for the next adventure, Rio could be the perfect addition to your family. Rio is looking for an active home where he can enjoy plenty of adventures, games and opportunities to continue learning. A private garden would be perfect for this energetic boy, giving him space to stretch his legs and enjoy spending time outdoors. His adopters should be happy to continue his reward-based training, particularly around loose lead walking, travelling in the car and helping him stay calm when he spots other dogs. Rio could live with calm, dog-savvy children aged 6 years and over who can join in with his fun whilst understanding when he needs a little downtime. He may also be able to live with another friendly dog following successful introductions. Due to his strong instinct to chase, Rio is looking for a home without cats or small pets. He settles well when left for short periods, although this should be built up gradually as he settles into his new home.
