Ronald is an exceptionally affectionate tomcat who wins hearts immediately with his charming personality. He greets his people joyfully at the door and showers them with affection. Anyone who meets him instantly feels what a loyal and gentle companion he is. Ronald has many endearing qualities: he is easy-going, friendly, and enjoys being close to his people. When it comes to food, he is selective but in an endearing way – he only eats grain-free and loves both meat and fish. Surprisingly, he also has a soft spot for chickpeas. He likes to spend time on the balcony, enjoying the sun and fresh air, but prefers the milder hours of the day. Strong sunlight or high heat makes him uncomfortable, as his sensitive eyes start to burn. Ronald is a very loving tomcat who gets along well with other cats and even dogs. He is now neutered, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV. Ronald was born around June 2023 and is still in Spain. He was found in October 2023, dirty and with sunburned skin. Now he is doing well and is healthy. Ronald is a very sociable, yet partly independent tomcat. He has beautiful light brown eyes. In his foster home, he quickly won the hearts of everyone and loves to curl up next to his foster mom, rubbing his face against her. He also loves to play with water. Since he gets along well with other cats and dogs, he would like to have feline company of about the same age in his new home. He especially gets along well with his little friend Fiona at the foster home. He would be happy with a secure outdoor area. Unfortunately, it turned out that he cannot tolerate regular wet food and pâtés. However, he tolerates home-cooked meat and fish very well. A grain-free food has now been found that he can eat without any problems. Upon entry, Ronald will be vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, and microchipped. The tests for FIV and FeLV were already negative. He will be a loyal companion if given the chance. Who will give him this chance?

Ich wurde ungefähr im Juni 2023 geboren und lebte zunächst auf den Straßen Spaniens. Im Oktober 2023 wurde ich dort in einem schlechten Zustand gefunden – schmutzig und mit von der Sonne verbrannter Haut. Zum Glück wurde ich rechtzeitig gerettet und versorgt. Heute geht es mir wieder gut und ich bin gesund genug, um mein eigenes Zuhause zu suchen. Mittlerweile lebe ich noch in Spanien auf einer Pflegestelle und warte darauf, endlich ankommen zu dürfen. Seit meiner ersten Zeit auf der Pflegestelle sind inzwischen einige Monate vergangen und ich möchte dir von meiner Entwicklung berichten: Ich bin zu einem sehr liebevollen Kater geworden, der Menschen über alles schätzt. Ich begrüße meine Bezugspersonen freudig an der Tür und suche aktiv ihre Nähe. Wenn ich Vertrauen gefasst habe, zeige ich mich verschmust, anhänglich und sehr treu – ich reibe mein Gesicht an meinen Menschen und genieße jede gemeinsame ruhige Minute. Auch mit anderen Katzen und sogar mit Hunden komme ich gut zurecht und wünsche mir deshalb im neuen Zuhause unbedingt Gesellschaft im etwa gleichen Alter. Weitere Monate sind vergangen und es ist Oktober 2025. Ich habe mich noch einmal deutlich eingelebt: Ich habe gelernt, mich gut auf meine Menschen einzulassen und zeige immer klarer, wie sozial und sanft ich eigentlich bin. Besonders gern verbringe ich ruhige Momente auf einem gesicherten Balkon, wo ich die Welt beobachte und die frische Luft genieße. Bei starker Sonne oder großer Hitze bin ich allerdings empfindlich, da meine Augen schnell gereizt reagieren, weshalb ich milde Temperaturen bevorzuge. Ich bin bereits kastriert, geimpft, entwurmt und gechippt. Meine Tests auf FIV und FeLV sind negativ ausgefallen. Futtertechnisch bin ich ein bisschen speziell: Ich vertrage kein normales Nassfutter oder Pasteten, sondern komme am besten mit getreidefreiem Futter sowie selbstgekochtem Fleisch oder Fisch zurecht. Jetzt fehlt mir nur noch eines: ein liebevolles Zuhause, in dem ich endlich ankommen darf. Vielleicht bist genau du der Mensch, der mir diese Chance gibt?
