Size 48 cm, weight approx. 24 kg, microchipped, vaccinated, neutered. Schanya is a cheerful, gentle, and friendly female dog. She gets along very well with children and animals. With dogs, she is always good-natured, never tries to take the lead, and enjoys playing. Cats feel comfortable around her; she treats them respectfully. With new people, she can sometimes be a bit shy at first, but with a treat, a little time, and calmness, she quickly warms up, approaches on her own, and seeks contact. Schanya bonds closely with her human. Even on walks, she likes to stay nearby and happily looks into her trusted people’s eyes. She walks well on the leash and knows the command “Komm.” When called, she immediately comes running back with a wagging tail. In new environments, she can be a bit nervous and needs support. Once a place or route becomes familiar, she relaxes. Routines and a clear, predictable environment help her feel secure. Schanya rides calmly in the car—even jumps in herself—and enjoys shared outings. In restaurants, she behaves impeccably, stays relaxed on her spot, and doesn’t beg. At home, she doesn’t bark, doesn’t destroy anything, and can be left alone for up to 4 hours. She is clean and house-trained. She neither barks at neighbors nor at dogs passing by the fence. She loves resting near her human, both indoors and outdoors. If you want to watch TV or read a book in peace, Schanya quietly lies down beside you. As soon as you pick up the leash, she sits expectantly by the door. Schanya notices even the smallest shifts in human moods and responds accordingly. Therefore, lots of commotion, loud or energetic guests, or parties at home can tire her out and make her nervous. She prefers quieter times within the family circle among familiar people. Currently, she lives in a foster home with two children (please add ages) and a cat whom she adores very much. People say many wonderful things about her: “Schanya is very friendly and calm. She is incredibly sensitive, affectionate, and understanding, with an exceptionally gentle nature. Sometimes she startles at sudden everyday noises or quick movements and hops sideways like a bunny—but she isn’t afraid of New Year’s fireworks. She is deeply bonded to people and instantly feels safer next to a reliable human. Schanya is very intelligent and obedient. She loves walks in the park where she can run and play with other dogs. At the same time, she keeps looking for us with her eyes and comes over for cuddles. It matters greatly to her to know we’re nearby.” Unfortunately, due to family circumstances, Schanya is looking for a new home after having lived with her current family for about half a year. At the vet and during visits, Schanya remains calm and prefers staying close to her human. At home, she’s the “boss”—she checks first who’s arrived, then settles back down relaxed. Schanya would fit well into many kinds of families, whether active or quiet, with children or other animals. With her zest for life, Schanya lifts spirits and will be a wonderful companion. This animal is good with children.

Mit Hunden ist sie stets gutmütig, versucht nicht die Führung zu übernehmen und spielt gerne. Katzen fühlen sich in ihrer Nähe wohl, sie begegnet ihnen respektvoll. Bei neuen Menschen ist sie anfangs manchmal etwas schüchtern. Mit einem Leckerli, ein bisschen Zeit und Ruhe taut sie aber schnell auf, kommt von selbst näher und sucht Kontakt. Schanya orientiert sich sehr an ihrem Menschen. Auch beim Spaziergang läuft sie gerne in der Nähe und schaut ihren Bezugspersonen fröhlich in die Augen. Sie läuft gut an der Leine und kennt das Kommando „Komm“. Dann kommt sie sofort mit wedelndem Schwanz zu ihrem Menschen. In neuen Umgebungen kann sie etwas nervös sein und braucht Unterstützung. Sobald ein Ort oder eine Strecke vertraut wird, entspannt sie sich. Ihr helfen Rituale und eine klare, vorhersehbare Umgebung. Schanya fährt ruhig im Auto mit, springt sogar selbst hinein und freut sich über gemeinsame Ausflüge. In Restaurants verhält sie sich vorbildlich, bleibt entspannt auf ihrem Platz liegen und bettelt nicht. Zu Hause bellt sie nicht, macht nichts kaputt und kann bis zu 4 Stunden allein bleiben. Sie ist sauber und stubenrein. Sie bellt weder Nachbarn an noch Hunde, die am Zaun vorbeigehen. Sie ruht gerne in der Nähe ihres Menschen, drinnen wie draußen. Wenn Sie in Ruhe fernsehen oder ein Buch lesen möchten, legt sich Schanya leise zu Ihnen. Sobald Sie die Leine in die Hand nehmen, sitzt sie erwartungsvoll an der Tür. Schanya nimmt kleinste Stimmungsänderungen bei Menschen wahr und reagiert darauf. Viel Trubel, laute, aktive Gäste oder Partys zu Hause können sie daher ermüden und auch nervös machen. Sie bevorzugt eher ruhige Zeit im Familienkreis mit vertrauten Menschen. Derzeit lebt sie in einer Pflegefamilie mit zwei Kindern (Alter bitte ergänzen) und einer Katze, die sie sehr liebt. Man sagt viel Gutes über sie: „Schanya ist sehr freundlich und ruhig. Sie ist unglaublich sensibel, liebevoll und verständnisvoll, sehr zart im Wesen. Manchmal erschrickt sie bei einem plötzlichen Alltagsgeräusch oder einer schnellen Bewegung und hüpft dann wie ein Häschen zur Seite, aber keine Angst vor Sylvesterknallern. Sie ist sehr menschenbezogen und fühlt sich neben einem verlässlichen Menschen sofort sicherer. Schanya ist sehr klug und gehorsam. Sie liebt Spaziergänge im Park, wo sie rennen und mit anderen Hunden spielen kann. Gleichzeitig sucht sie uns immer wieder mit den Augen und kommt für Streicheleinheiten zu uns. Ihr ist wichtig zu wissen, dass wir in der Nähe sind.“ Leider sucht Schanya aus familiären Gründen ein neues Zuhause, nachdem sie etwa ein halbes Jahr in der Familie gelebt hat. Beim Tierarzt und bei Besuchen ist Schanya ruhig und bleibt am liebsten in der Nähe ihres Menschen. Zu Hause ist sie die „Chefin“, sie schaut erst nach, wer da ist, und legt sich dann entspannt wieder hin. Schanya passt in viele Familien, ob aktiv oder ruhig, mit Kindern oder anderen Tieren. Mit ihrer Lebensfreude hebt Schanya die Stimmung und wird eine wunderbare Begleiterin.
