Testimonial of adoption of the cat HORUS, a tabby adopted at 2 years old, after a rescue! Posted on May 24, 20238 December 2024 by Brigit First cat adopted by this family with the association. Already a rescue ... an original first adoption in a wonderful family! Who followed and loved HORUS before his adoption, during his stay at the association... Gentle cat typified Siamese, Horus was recovered on the parking lot of a building complex where one of our volunteers lives. He came from nowhere, we think he was abandoned there like many others before ... because people know that we take care of the street cats of this place that we have spayed and tattooed. The abandonment people feel good conscience by leaving them there! Horus was in bad physical condition (dirty, matted fur)... and especially he had a very damaged tail, even necrotic. It hardly held anymore, until the day the volunteer found the damaged part that had fallen off by itself. We took him immediately to the vet who told us unsurprisingly that unfortunately he had to amputate the remaining end of the tail because it was not at all nice and infected. So our little Horus will end up with a tiny tuft on his back! Of course, for now the fur has not yet grown back because for the operation the veterinarian had to shave him. Horus was placed in foster care waiting to find him a home of his own. A loveable cat, very sociable, loving cuddles, pats and immediately activates the purring engine. He is also a glutton! He is a love with other cats, not an ounce of aggression towards his peers, he shares his foster family with 5 other felines. Horus is now eagerly awaiting his own family! The new family of the tabby cat Horus testifies about his arrival at home: Original testimonial from May 2013 Horus is a big cat brave, full of kindness and tenderness. He has however experienced a lot of difficulties until he was taken in by your association. We welcomed him in August 2012 and he quickly adapted to his new life. This cat is a love, he won everyone's heart, from the oldest to the youngest. He is a bit like the king of the world when he perches on the mezzanines of the boys, he is always ready to receive a good dose of cuddle. We are really happy to have found Horus, he is now part of the family. We would like to thank your association for having saved him from certain death and for entrusting him to us. Déjà un sauvetage … une première adoption originale dans une famille formidable ! Qui nous suit et nous aime toujours HORUS avant son adoption, lors de son séjour dans l’association… Gentil matou typé Siamois, Horus a été récupéré sur le parking d’un groupe d’immeubles où vit une de nos bénévoles. Arrivé de nulle part, nous pensons qu’il a été abandonné là comme bien d’autres avant … car les gens savent que nous nous occupons des chats des rues de cet endroit que nous avons stérilisés et tatoués. Les abandonneurs se donnent bonne conscience en les déposant là ! Horus était dans un sale état physiquement (sale, poil emmêlé)…et surtout il avait une queue très abîmée, voire nécrosée. Elle ne tenait quasiment plus, jusqu’au jour où la bénévole a retrouvé par terre la partie abimée qui était tombée d’elle-même. Nous l’avons alors tout de suite emmené chez le véto qui nous a annoncé sans surprise que malheureusement il fallait lui amputer le bout de queue qui lui restait car elle n’était pas du tout jolie et infectée. Du coup notre petit Horus va se retrouver avec un tout petit pompon au derrière ! Bien sûr pour le moment le poil n’a pas encore repoussé car pour l’opération le vétérinaire a dû le raser. Horus a donc été mis en famille d’accueil en attendant de lui trouver une maison bien à lui. Un amour de matou, très sociable, adorant les câlins, les caresses et qui déclenche tout de suite le moteur à ronrons. C’est aussi un gourmand ! C’est un amour avec les autres chats, pas une once d’agressivité envers ses congénères, il partage sa famille d’accueil avec 5 autres félins. Horus attend maintenant avec impatience sa propre famille ! La nouvelle famille d’Horus le chat tigré témoigne de son arrivée à la maison : Témoignage original de mai 2013 Horus est un gros matou courageux, plein de gentillesse et de douceur. Il a pourtant vécu beaucoup de galères jusqu’à ce qu’il soit recueilli par votre association. Nous l’avons accueilli en août 2012 et il s’est très vite adapté à sa nouvelle vie. Ce chat est un amour, il a fait l’unanimité autour de lui, des plus grands aux plus petits. Il est un peu comme le roi du monde lorsqu’il se perche sur les mezzanines des garçons, il est toujours prêt à recevoir une bonne dose de câlin.Nous sommes vraiment heureux d’avoir trouvé Horus, il fait maintenant partie de la famille. Nous tenons à remercier votre association de l’avoir sauvé d’une mort certaine et de nous l’avoir confié. Maria, La »girl power » de cette famille qu’on adore !! Voir un autre diaporama sympa !
