"Thor" is a very young dog who may appear impressive at first glance. Reserved when he doesn't know people, he took time to trust the various members of the team. However, he has made significant progress since his arrival at the shelter, gradually gaining trust in the team. Once more at ease, Thor turns out to be a calm, gentle, and obedient dog. Playful, he also has an independent side. He does not constantly seek physical contact but still keeps a watchful eye on his reference figure. Thor is social with other animals of the same species. However, he does not get along with cats. Therefore, there should be no cats in his future home. If there are children in the family, we will prefer a home with teenagers. Thor can be destructive and escape if left alone. Solitude must be worked on progressively but must be a priority. Additionally, the work around resource protection during feeding must also continue. Thor will therefore need a patient, available, and invested adopter. Like a good Malinois, Thor will need a daily sufficient mental and physical expenditure to stay balanced. Still young, he has a lot to learn and his education must be pursued seriously. A person familiar with the breed or willing to fully invest in his education will be ideal to offer Thor the stability and framework he needs to become a well-adjusted dog. To adopt Thor, you will need a dog owner suitability certificate as well as liability insurance. Note: this animal shows resource guarding.

« Thor » est un tout jeune chien qui peut sembler impressionnant au premier abord. Réservé lorsqu’il ne connaît pas, il a mis du temps à faire confiance aux différents membres de l’équipe. Il a toutefois déjà beaucoup progressé depuis son arrivée au refuge prenant peu à peu confiance en l’équipe. Une fois plus à l’aise, Thor se révèle être un chien calme, gentil et obéissant. Joueur, il a aussi un côté indépendant. Il ne recherche pas constamment le contact physique mais il garde tout de même toujours un œil sur son référent. Thor est sociable avec ses congénères. Par contre, il ne s’entend pas avec les chats. Il ne faudra donc pas de chats dans son futur foyer. S’il y a des enfants dans la famille nous privilégierons plutôt un foyer avec des adolescents. Thor peut se montrer destructeur et fugueur s’il est laissé seul. La solitude devra être retravaillée progressivement mais cela devra être une priorité. Il faudra également poursuivre le travail autour de la protection de ressources lors du nourrissage notamment. Thor aura donc besoin d’un adoptant patient, disponible et investi. Comme tout bon malinois, Thor aura besoin d’une dépense quotidienne suffisante aussi bien mentalement que physiquement pour rester équilibré. Encore jeune, il a beaucoup à apprendre et son éducation devra être poursuivie avec sérieux. Une personne connaissant la race ou prête à s’investir pleinement dans son éducation sera l’idéal pour offrir à Thor la stabilité et le cadre dont il a besoin pour devenir un chien bien dans ses pattes. Pour pouvoir adopter Thor il faudra avoir une attestation d’aptitude chiens de catégories ainsi qu’une assurance responsabilité civile.
