At the animal shelter since: 30.11.2025 Flori – a gentle tomcat looking for patience and security Flori is the third of the brothers who were caught during a castration campaign. Together with Kasper and Hopsi, he was initially able to stay at a foster home, where they began to cautiously socialize the three with people. Unfortunately, this foster home had to be given up due to problems with the neighbors, so Flori eventually came to us at the animal shelter. Flori has not had many opportunities to build trust in humans so far. Nevertheless, he already showed on the foster home that he can accept touch. Currently, he is still reserved and easily startled, but we are convinced that with much patience, calmness and empathy, he can become a friendly affectionate cat. Flori is very social and cat-oriented. He feels significantly safer in the presence of other cats and should therefore either move together with one of his brothers or to an existing, friendly cat of a similar age. After acclimating, Flori also wants to enjoy outdoor access again. Children should not live in the new home, as loud or hectic situations would be too much for him right now. Whoever adopts Flori gives a sensitive tomcat time, security, and the chance for a loving cat life. Gemeinsam mit Kasper und Hopsi durfte er zunächst auf einer Pflegestelle bleiben, wo man begann, die drei vorsichtig an Menschen zu gewöhnen. Leider musste diese Pflegestelle aufgrund von Problemen mit der Nachbarschaft aufgegeben werden, sodass Flori schließlich zu uns ins Tierheim kam. Auch Flori hatte bisher noch nicht viele Möglichkeiten, Vertrauen zum Menschen aufzubauen. Dennoch zeigte er auf der Pflegestelle bereits, dass er Berührungen zulassen kann. Aktuell ist er noch zurückhaltend und schreckhaft, doch wir sind überzeugt, dass mit viel Geduld, Ruhe und Einfühlungsvermögen aus ihm ein zutraulicher Schmusekater werden kann. Flori ist sehr sozial und katzenorientiert. Er fühlt sich in der Nähe anderer Katzen deutlich sicherer und sollte daher entweder gemeinsam mit einem seiner Brüder oder zu einer vorhandenen, freundlichen Katze im ähnlichen Alter ziehen. Nach der Eingewöhnung möchte auch Flori wieder Freigang genießen. Kinder sollten im neuen Zuhause nicht leben, da ihm laute oder hektische Situationen aktuell noch zu viel wären. Wer Flori adoptiert, schenkt einem sensiblen Kater Zeit, Sicherheit und die Chance auf ein liebevolles Katzenleben.
