Trakcja was once a street cat and the struggle for survival left its mark. When a volunteer brought her to Ekostraż, the cat was emaciated, suffering from a cat cold, and her teeth were in such a terrible condition that every bite caused pain. She underwent treatment, and the gum inflammation was an indication for removal of all her teeth. However, it doesn't bother her at all when eating wet food, and even dry food. Quite the opposite! Now Trakcja is happier and has gained weight, because she can finally eat and nothing hurts anymore! The kitten is currently in a foster home. She is delicate, gentle and a bit shy. She prefers to spend time alone, but gladly accepts caresses and after a few pats she relaxes, starts to purr cutely and asks for more affection. The presence of other cats does not bother her, but she does not interact with them, rather she prefers to observe from a safe distance. Because the cat was diagnosed with epilepsy, she must take medication permanently, which however very effectively prevents seizures. Currently Trakcja feels very well, and the seizures have not occurred again. (The seizure happened only twice, and since the diagnosis was made and since she has been taking the medication, she has not had any. The cost of the pills per month is 40 zł.). Trakcja is about 6 years old, spayed, and FIV and FeLV negative. She is looking for a permanent home.

Trakcja niegdyś była kotkiem z ulicy i konieczność walki o przetrwanie mocno dała się jej we znaki. Gdy wolontariuszka przywiozła ją do Ekostraży, kotka była wychudzona, dokuczał jej koci katar, a zęby były w tak fatalnym stanie, że każdy kęs sprawiał ból. Przeszła leczenie, a stan zapalny dziąseł był wskazaniem do usunięcia wszystkich zębów. Jednak w ogóle jej to nie przeszkadza w jedzeniu mokrej, a nawet suchej karmy. Wręcz przeciwnie! Teraz Trakcja jest weselsza i przybrała na wadze, bo w końcu może jeść i nic nie boli! Koteczka przebywa obecnie w domu tymczasowym. Jest delikatna, łagodna i nieco płochliwa. Raczej woli spędzać czas sama, ale chętnie przyjmuje pieszczoty i po paru głaskach się relaksuje, zaczyna uroczo mruczeć i doprasza się o więcej czułości. Obecność innych kotów jej nie przeszkadza, ale się z nimi nie brata, lecz woli obserwować z bezpiecznej odległości. Ponieważ zdiagnozowano u kotki padaczkę, musi przyjmować na stałe lek, który jednak bardzo skutecznie zapobiega atakom. Obecnie Trakcja czuje się bardzo dobrze, a ataki już się nie powtarzają. (Atak padaczki zdarzył się jej tylko 2 razy, a po postawieniu diagnozy i od kiedy przyjmuje leki, już ich nie miewa. Koszt tabletek na miesiąc to 40 zł.). Trakcja ma ok. 6 lat, jest wysterylizowana, fiv i felv ujemny. Szuka domu stałego.
