Special needs: blind Hello dear cat lovers, my name is Tristan and I am a young tomcat from Greece. I would like to tell you a bit about myself because I hope so much that someone will fall in love with me and give me a nice home, maybe it's you? I was born blind, so I've never seen anything before. This also means that I am extremely sure-footed, as for me, the world has always been dark. My other senses are therefore sharpened, and I navigate very well. Despite this, I should not be rehomed into the general population due to this handicap; safety first. You can imagine how dangerous it would have been for a blind cat on the streets! That's why a loving animal rescuer took me in and saved my life. I get along with other cats, but they should also be very social, because a blind cat cannot read body language as well as one that can see. I will not be rehomed into solitary living. So if you don't already have a suitable cat at home, perhaps one from here could join you. Let my handler know. Until hopefully soon! Besonderheiten: blind Hallo liebe Katzenfreunde, mein Name ist Tristan und ich bin ein junger Kater aus Griechenland. Ich mag dir gerne mal von mir erzählen, denn ich hoffe so sehr, dass sich jemand in mich verliebt und mir ein schönes Zuhause schenkt, vielleicht ja du? Ich wurde blind geboren und habe also noch nie etwas sehen können. Das bedeutet aber auch, dass ich extrem sicher darin bin zu klettern, denn für mich ist es normal, dass die Welt dunkel ist. Meine anderen Sinne sind dadurch geschärft und ich orientiere mich sehr gut. Trotzdem soll ich wegen dieses Handicaps nicht in den Freigang vermittelt werden, sicher ist sicher. Du kannst dir ja vorstellen, dass ich blind auf der Straße sehr gefährdet war! Deshalb hat mich eine liebe Tierschützerin aufgenommen und so mein Leben gerettet. Andere Katzen mag ich, sie sollten aber auch sehr sozial sein, denn eine blinde Katze kann eben keine Körpersprache so lesen wie eine sehende. Ich werde nicht in Einzelhaltung vermittelt. Wenn du also noch keine passende Katze bei dir wohnen hast kann ich vielleicht jemanden von hier mitbringen. Sag meiner Vermittlerin Bescheid. Bis hoffentlich bald!
