Woody is a real sweetie. While he can be a little nervous at first, he soon warms up and shows just how affectionate he is. He loves a good fuss and will happily cuddle, often leaning into you once he feels comfortable. Woody thrives on company and enjoys being close to his favourite people. He loves exploring the world through his nose, enjoys his walks, and is good on the lead. Woody also loves food and treats, which makes training positive and rewarding. With patience, reassurance, and continued learning in his new home, Woody will blossom into a loyal, loving companion who will repay your kindness with cuddles, trust, and lots of heart. Woody is looking for a calm, patient, and understanding home where he can feel safe and build trust at his own pace.. A home with plenty of reassurance and kindness will help Woody settle and continue to grow in confidence. He can live with secondary school aged children and can be left alone for up to two hours once settled, although he really enjoys having his people around. If you’re happy to invest time, kindness, and ongoing support into helping a dog flourish, Woody could be a wonderful companion for you.
