Xerox is a lovable, affectionate lad who really enjoys being around his people. He loves cuddles, thrives on attention and is already showing a softer side — often choosing closeness and reassurance when he’s unsure. He’s playful and enjoys enrichment like licki mats, and he’s starting to learn how to channel his energy in a more positive way. With consistency and guidance, he’s shown he can interact nicely with other dogs and settle well. With patience, structure, and plenty of encouragement, Xerox has all the potential to grow into a loyal, fun, and rewarding companion. Meet Xerox, a big, bouncy approximately one and a half year old crossbreed who’s still learning all about the world. He’d be best suited to a home with secondary school–aged children or above who can understand his size and excitable nature. Xerox is looking to be the only pet in the home, but he does enjoy meeting doggy friends out and about. He’ll need owners committed to ongoing training, particularly around impulse control, jumping up, and mouthy behaviours when excited. He can be a little unsure at times, so visitors will need to be introduced calmly and at his pace. Leaving hours are currently unknown, so these will need to be built up gradually.
