Ο Σίλοε ντελ Ματότσαρ είναι ένας πανέμορφος νεαρός Μπριτάννιος, είναι τεσσάρων ετών, η ημερομηνία γέννησής του είναι 29/07/22. Περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες και φωτογραφίες θα ακολουθήσουν πολύ σύντομα. Ο Σίλοε και η αδελφή του Ξάξα, προέρχονται από έναν εκτροφέα Μπριτάννιων κοντά στη Μαδρίτη. Πρόσφατα μάθαμε ότι ο εκτροφέας εκδιώχθηκε από τη γη του και οι 33 Μπριτάννιοι του κινδύνευαν. Κατάφερε να βρει νέα κατοικία για 15 από τα σκυλιά και μαζί με δύο άλλες οργανώσεις διάσωσης προσφέραμε να πάρουμε τα υπόλοιπα 18 σκυλιά. Ο εκτροφέας τα μετέφερε στο βόρειο τμήμα της Ισπανίας και η SeBPRA ανέλαβε 11 από τα Μπριτάννια. Όλα είναι καθαρόαιμα σκυλιά και θα έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί για κυνήγι, εκτροφή και επιδείξεις. Αρκετά από τα σκυλιά έχουν τίτλους Πρωταθλήματος και πιστοποίηση PAN (Prueba de Aptitudes Naturales (Φυσικές ικανότητες δοκιμασία), μια επίσημη δοκιμή πεδίου που αξιολογεί το φυσικό ένστικτο κυνηγιού ενός σκύλου και είναι συνήθως υποχρεωτική προτού ένας σκύλος μπορεί να διεκδικήσει τίτλο πρωταθλήματος σε επιδείξεις. Xiloe del Matochar is a gorgeous young Brittany, he is four years old, his date of birth is 29/07/22. Xiloe is a beautiful Brittany, he is lively and very active. He shares a kennel with a female Brittany, Uriel, with whom he gets along very well, sharing space and food without any problems. He arrived at the residence very nervous and disoriented, but he has gradually calmed down and now allows human contact and has been integrating into the residence’s routines. Xiloe and his sister Xaxa, come from a Brittany breeder near Madrid. We recently heard that the breeder was being evicted from his land and his 33 Brittanys were at risk. He managed to rehome 15 of the dogs and together with two other rescues we offered to take the remaining 18 dogs. The breeder brought them up to the north of Spain and SeBPRA took on 11 of the Brittanys. All are pedigree dogs, and they will have been used for hunting, breeding and showing. Several of the dogs have Champion titles and PAN certification (Prueba de Aptitudes Naturales (Natural Aptitudes Test), an official field evaluation that assesses a dog’s natural hunting instincts and is usually mandatory before a dog can claim a Champion show title. It ensures that dual purpose breeds still retain the working breed qualities. We know Poker, Roma, Tormenta, Xiloe, and Xirius have been shown, however the Brittany is a true dual purpose breed, so these dogs are just as likely to have been out hunting last weekend as in the show ring.
