Charles can live with dog-savvy, secondary-school-aged children and would love adopters who either have Shar-Pei experience or have researched the breed. He is happy to head out for a few walks each day before curling up and enjoying some well-earned downtime. Once settled, Charles can be left for a few hours, although his leaving time will need to be built up gradually. He enjoys the occasional fuss and especially loves a good bum scratch! With the right home, Charles will make a wonderful addition to his new family. Charles is a handsome 4-year-old Shar-Pei who is confident meeting new people and happily greets everyone he meets. In typical Shar-Pei style, Charles can be independent around other dogs, but he is happy to have calm walking buddies. He could also live with another dog, pending a successful mix at the centre. Charles would suit a family looking for a dog who enjoys a balance of companionship and independence.
