Ciucaș löydettiin harhailemassa Brașovin lähellä. Kapeana, nälkäisenä ja peloissaan hän kantoi pitkäaikaisen kärsimyksen näkyviä merkkejä. Ciucaș was found wandering near Brașov. Thin, hungry, and frightened, he carried the visible signs of long-term suffering. Disease had affected almost his entire body: inflamed skin, painful wounds, and large patches where his fur had fallen out. Every day was a struggle, and even the gentlest touch seemed to hurt. Yet despite everything, Ciucaș has not lost hope. He still looks at people with trust, as if he knows that someone will finally offer him the help he desperately needs. He suffers from a severe form of demodectic mange, a condition that causes intense itching, skin infections, and weakens his entire body. Most likely, he endured this suffering alone for a long time, without care, comfort, or love. Today, however, Ciucaș is safe. He is receiving the treatment he needs and is slowly beginning to learn that not all people abandon him. Every day, he gains a little more confidence and takes another step toward recovery. Now he has a chance at a new life—a chance to transform from a neglected and suffering dog into a healthy, happy, and loved companion.
