Ciucaș was found wandering near Brașov. Thin, hungry, and frightened, he carried the visible signs of long-term suffering. Most likely, he endured this suffering alone for a long time, without care, comfort, or love. Today, however, Ciucaș is safe. He is receiving the treatment he needs and is slowly beginning to learn that not all people abandon him. Every day, he gains a little more confidence and takes another step toward recovery. Now he has a chance at a new life—a chance to transform from a neglected and suffering dog into a healthy, happy, and loved companion.
